The bell rang a shrill ring only known as a fire drill. Or in this case, not a drill. Lacey, the head cheerleader had mixed a couple chemicals together in her AP chemistry class and it caused a slight disaster.
As we all filed out the door I put in my headphones and watched the teachers scramble around to count all their students. Now, this wasn't even a bad emergency. The alarm and firemen were just protocol if anything went off.
I grinned as I saw my dad walking over. "Ky! Wanna go home? Yall will probably be dismissed early."
Thoughts of the ice swirled in my mind. Mom wouldn't be home yet and neither would Dylan.
"Yeah! We can go to the rink so I can mess around with some new music." My smile matched his as we walked over to the school secretary, Mrs. Tomlinson.
Now I know what you're thinking. "Oh my gosh! Is she related to The Louis Tomlinson?"
Haha, nope. That's the question every girl asks when they walk into the wooden double doors on their first day.
Anyways, dad and I hopped into his cobalt 2004 Chevy truck. A pulled the seat belt and clicked it into place as we drove off.
Short.... and a filler.... but that's ok bc double updates!!!!! Yay!!
