Maya's POV:

It was pretty exciting being at the waterpark, and Lucas being oddly close to me. But at the same time, a part of me was scared. As a kid, I never went on slides. Just the pool. On the wait for the slide, as he held me, we suddenly just started talking.

"You scared?" Lucas suddenly asked me looking at me.

"Not really. How bout you Huckleberry? Aren't you always scared?" Both silently laughing.

"Ay, no. At least not always." We both smiled and let go since it wasn't that cold anymore and we were next.

The thing about this slide that scared me was it went straight down, and eventually went back and forth like those boat rides at the carnivals. Oh and also... It was called the "Tornado." What a welcoming name for a ride.

It was finally our turn, but my heart was frantically beating. At least all 4 of us went at the same time.

The lifeguard stated, "Have fun," as he pushed us down.

Before we went down, I closed my eyes and squeezed my body, since the anticipation was already much to bear.

I'm guessing Lucas noticed, and held my hand over the handles we were supposed to hold. It did make me feel a bit better. As we went down, my stomach urged and I screamed pretty loud. Along with everyone else. After every drop, I screamed louder and louder and didn't feel as nervous.

It was actually really fun.

The ride settled and Lucas and I were still holding to each other.

No big deal.... Right?

We went back to Aunt Caroline and Mom, and asked what we should do next. It was pretty obvious they wanted to relax and get a suntan, (More like a sunburn) so I suggested hanging out in the pool for a bit.

They agreed and we went in. For about 10 minutes I practiced my swimming techniques while Farkle and Riley were trying to learn how to swim. I didn't realize I haven't seen Lucas since than, so I searched for him in the pool.

I couldn't find him anywhere.

I continued to look, and felt someone grab my legs and throw me to the ground. I rose up from the water immediately and with no surprise it was Lucas. He had a little smirk on his face and eventually ran away.

Obviously I chased after him as he headed to Riley and Farkle.

Soon after, we ended up playing a "game," where we try to throw each other out and back into the water.

Most of the time, I was running away from Lucas and throwing Riley into the water. We were nonstop laughing and was told to stop by a lifeguard. But we didn't. Poor Farkle tried to throw Lucas but it was hopeless.

Farkle and Riley were throwing each other while Lucas was chasing me. Obviously I couldn't throw Lucas. I mean look at him.

Without noticing we were in there for almost an hour, when Aunt Caroline and Mom called us out saying they were "done tanning," when Aunt Caroline looked like a tomato. Oops.

Farkle noticed he lost his sandals, so we had to go to the gift shop. I actually had fun in the gift shop.

I was minding my own business trying to find a souvenir like a bikini to remember Hawaii when Lucas started putting things on me.

Sunglasses, hats, and shoes on my head. I chased him around and did the same thing and it was pretty fun. After 5 minutes of being stupid:

"Okay stop," Lucas said with a smile on his face still.

"You're tired Huckleberry?"

"Yeah."

"Ohhh. This cowboy can't even handle it." I said teasing him. He turned around and gave me a annoyed face  as I smiled.

I found a really cute bikini with Hawaiian flowers on it. It was really tropical and was the perfect thing to remind me of Hawaii, so I bought it. I barely spend my money but this was worth it.

We went on more slides, that were two people, and like always I went with Riley. I wasn't that mad anymore. She's my bestfriend so I let it slide.

As soon as we knew it, it was late, and we headed back to the hotel. I put the bikini in my backpack and changed to my pajamas. Lucas and Farkle went to go get more food at the café but Riley and I were pretty stuff from the chicken strips.

I was really tired today. We achieved a lot. I ended up sleeping early, but I laid in bed thinking about how much closer Lucas and I got. It made me pretty happy. But I know how I feel about him being more than friends or how he feels.

I have more time with him. It's Hawaii.
