Okay, today is December 23rd. Which means it's Christmas Eve Eve. Which means it's the day before my birthday but tonight is the party. Yesterday was the day after homecoming and Noah has been non-stop texting me which is actually really sweet of him.

There's school today but I asked Meghan and Lily to cut school with me to help set up my backyard for the party tonight. I'm finally turning 18. I've been alive for 18 years... Damn I'm old.

Anyways, my dad went to work super early this morning so he could be here at night. My backyard is covered in light pink and silver. Having a party outside in the cold isn't that much fun but if you're dancing your butt off all night, which you should, you're going to be a sweaty mess. Plus, I have hot chocolate if people need to work up a sweat.

"Guys! Is everything done?!" I yell at Meghan and Lily who are just sitting there, dancing around to the music blasting when they should be blowing up balloons.

Meghan gets up and walks over to me," Abs, relax. We got this from here. You're the birthday girl. Go upstairs and get ready. Just calm down."

I nod at her comment," okay... Just please get this down."

"We will, I promise you," Meghan smiles. I grab my phone and make my way upstairs. I see my dress hanging on a hanger right in front of my bed. I take a deep breath right when I hear a knock on the balcony window.

"Noah, go back to school," I say, not moving from my position. He was pouting and had the puppy dog eyes. And he was leaning on the glass too. I had to open it," I'm only opening the door because I haven't cleaned them in forever and I don't want you to have dirty pores."

He comes inside with a big box. At the time, there was holes in them but the huge, pink box was covering some of them," happy birthday... Well early birthday"

I alternate between looking at him and the box," why can't you give it to me tonight?" I ask.

"Because it's an important one and I know you'll want it before tonight," he says.

"Well can I put some makeup on first?" I ask as he shakes his head. I roll my eyes and walk over to my makeup table anyways. Next thing I knew, I was lifted in the air and placed on my bed again. "Seriously?"

"I'm not leaving until you open the box," he says. I sigh before taking the lid off. My jaw instantly drops when a puppy jumps out and starts licking me.

"It's a Pomeranian!" I half yell, half aw. This is so fucking adorable because it's a teacup Pomeranian. "Am I keeping this or is this just a prank?"

He shakes his head," no, its yours."

My jaw drops again as I keep petting the little bundle of joy. I place it on the bed and end up jumping onto Noah to give him a tight hug," thank you so much."

"You're welcome," he smiles, hugging me back. So this is what 'the Noah hug' is. Meg talked about it once or twice. She told me it's a hug that will 'make you wanting more' which sounds ridiculous. "I'm glad you like it."

"Like it? I love it! He's so cute," I say, playing with it's cheeks. I feel Noah watching me but this dog is genuinely adorable. "I'm gonna name you Noah."

Noah scoffs," how original."

I roll my eyes," at least I named him after you. You wouldn't like if I named him Dylan."

It was his turn to roll his eyes," I should get back to school if I want to graduate."

"Thank you again," I smile. He smiles back at me before leaving. I hear his car vroom away as I walk out to the balcony. There was a big dog cage and inside was everything you need to own a dog. I'm just standing here, grinning like an idiot.
