Where's that freakin' phone?
Who would be calling in this time of the night?
Insane.
I mumbled a seemingly inaudible hello. Who cares if the caller doesn't understand it?
"Princess?"
What?
"Princess... Princesses... are you there? Uhm...I couldn't sleep... I...I just need to hear your voice..."
I bolted awake. I'm not dreaming. Am I?
"Hey. Speak up...I can hear you...Tulog ka na naman with your phone still in your ear..." he laughed. "Ikaw talaga..."
Goosebumps shot up on my arm. This isn't happening. I froze. His laugh.
"Vito?"
I heard a sigh of relief.
"Hey...Akala ko tinulugan mo na naman ako. Di ka na talaga nagbago..-"
Beep.
The line went dead.
