06. Helping Hand?

I'm going to kill this girl when I get my fucking hands on her...

Hanji had left Rin stranded there and wasn't picking up the phone. She kept calling her, hoping she would answer and come to get me. She didn't... Ri finally gave up after calling her like ten times and shoved her phone back into her purse. She just stood there in the grass. But suddenly, a cold breeze blew, making the redhead shiver as she wrapped her arms around herself. When she left, Rin completely forgot to bring a jacket. At this rate, she'd freeze if she tried to walk home and her cigarettes tend to make her a little tired and dizzy... But then the sound of the front door opening and closing caught her eardrums. Rin didn't bother to look back as she just stared forward, the breeze blowing against her as she shivered again, gripping her arms tighter.

"You're going to freeze to death out here dressed like that." Came Levi's voice.

"Thanks, Captain Obvious... Anything else?"

He sighed before taking Rin's hands away from her arms, grabbing one of her wrists as he pulled her along. "Come with me."

"Are we going to Wonderland?" She asked both flatly and sarcastically.

"Just shut the fuck up, runt."

Levi walked over to a black sedan car, pulling his keys out and unlocking the car. "Get in."

Rin raised an eyebrow, staring at him as he placed his hands on his hips, glaring back at her. "Are you deaf?"

"I'm sorry, did you just say to get in the car?"

"I did, now get in."

"Why?"

"Because I'm not going to let you freeze out here. Now get in since I doubt you know how to get home from here."

A sigh escaped her lips as she just walked around to the passenger side, getting in the car. After buckling her seatbelt, Levi did his and drove off. Rin just stared out the window, pulling her hair over her left shoulder as she played with it. "Take a shower when we get to my house; you were around those disgusting people..."

"Fine."

"And don't mess anything up."

"Will do."

"I'll find something for you to wear while you're in the shower..."

After he said that, the redhead started looking around in her purse as she saw a pair of black underpants and a black bra. She blushed slightly as realizing they were a pair of hipsters with a stupid blue bow in the center when a thought occurred to her. "Umm, exactly what can you find for me to wear, out of curiosity...?"

"My ex-girlfriend left some of her clothes at my apartment and never came back for them, quite a lot of them actually... Said they didn't fit her and to do with them as I saw fit... Honestly, I just left them because I didn't care enough to get rid of them. Well, I suppose it was a good thing I didn't get rid of them since you need them now."

"You had a girlfriend?" Rin raised an eyebrow.

"I've had a few..."

"Really? You, a girlfriend?"

He sighed irritably. "And this surprises you why?"

"I'm just shocked some girls actually put up with you..."

"I ended up breaking up with them..."

"Why, if you don't mind my asking?"

"Either they cheated on me, or treated me like shit or like I didn't matter..."

"Umm, I'm sorry to hear that..."

"I don't need sympathy. But what about you, have any boyfriend or something?"
