When Rin got home from school, she quickly grabbed her laptop and sat at the kitchen table, typing furiously as she started doing different searches. "December 16, 2003..." She mumbled as she typed in the date.
Several different sites popped up as Rin clicked on the first one. As she scanned through the page, it was just useless information she already knew. The people who murdered her parents always struck on the 16th of December and this year, it was on a Friday.
Wait, come to think about it, Mr. Ichigo was going on a two week long vacation in a week. It was the last week of November and he comes back on that Monday after the 16th. Shit... Could this mean...? No, it can't... But...that look he gave me before I left the room is telling me otherwise along with that terrible knot in my gut.
Rin continued searching around, only finding the main guy's name was Kyo, which again, she already knew. They would kill the parents and leave the children, but would only kill people who had one child, which was rather strange to her... All the dots seem to be connecting one by one, but where they end was unclear. After about nearly two hours of just searching, finding nothing of actual use to her, Rin just shut her laptop in frustration, sighing as she leaned her cheek on her closed fist.
For some reason, all of these connections keep leading back to Mr. Ichigo. Why though? I'm gonna need help if I'm ever gonna find anything... Can't ask Hanji cuz she's a blabber mouth. Eren? No... He shouldn't get involved, not with this, which leaves out Mikasa too. Armin is way too innocent. Ah, crap... That leaves me with only one more option.
Rin sighed loudly and irritably. "Damn it... Shorty... He's all I've got... I was trying to avoid that too, but it looks like I don't have a choice..." She grumbled under her breath.
After pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration, the redhead sighed and got up, putting her laptop back in her room before seating herself on the couch. She sat there for a long moment, just thinking, wondering what to do to convince the stubborn shorty to help her since she knew he won't do it willingly and she also knew he won't just agree to help her either, so she'd have to figure something out... God I hate this... The one person who I hate is the only person who can help me... This is annoying...

The next day at school, Rin was talking with Hanji, even though she really didn't want to, but she came up to her while she was waiting for shorty to arrive at school.
"Hey, Hanji, have you seen shorty?"
"You mean your little lover?" She squealed.
Rin fake laughed. "Ha ha, very funny... I hate him and he hates me. Now just answer the damn question." She said impatiently.
"He should be arriving any minute now. Levi normally doesn't get here till a few minutes before the bell rings." She stated.
A puff of white air escaped the redhead's lips as she let out a breath. The weather was getting colder and colder everyday as it was just now entering winter, well, sort of...but it sure as hell felt like it. The cold didn't really bother her much since she was used to it by now, always running, searching. Beside the point, Rin tightened the scarf around her neck as her black coat clung to her body, stuffing her bare hands into the pockets of the coat. Suddenly, Rin heard Hanji exclaim as she started pointing.
"Ooh! Ooh! There he is! I see his car!" She cheered before shoving the other teen forward. "Go get 'em!" She shouted before running off.
"Tch... Damn girl..." She scowled before walking towards the car.
Levi stepped out and closed the car door, walking up to the school until Rin approached him, the raven scoffing at her presence as she just rolled her eyes. "The hell do you want, runt?"
