My eyes pealed open to the sun shining on my face and an arm draped over me. It took me a moment to realize it was Calum, his tan skin contrasting against my pale whiteness. I needed to get a tan....

"Hey," Calum's deep, raspy voice whispered into my ear. I turned around to be face-to-face with him.

"Hey Cal," I grinned widely.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked, his eyes half open, indicating he was still tired and still waking up.

"Pretty good. What about you?"

"Well you were in my arms, so I would say perfectly."

"Stop being so cheesy or I might just have to kiss you." I giggled, rolling my eyes.

"C'mere." Calum smiled, pulling my body into his and attaching our lips. His lips massaged mine, my hands finding his shoulders and pressing deeply into the skin.

I could hear the squeak of my door being pushed open, making me push Calum away on instinct. Sammie walked in, her jaw dropping and eyes widening.

"What're you doing here?" I asked, my tone a little angry.

"I wanted to surprise you with Starbucks." She answered. "I'll be downstairs." She quickly added, before closing the door behind her and leaving us in the room. I sighed, running my fingers through my hair.

"Sorry about that. I didn't know she was coming." I slowly spoke up.

"It's okay baby. You should go talk to her and hang out. We'll be hanging out all night." Calum responded, a bright smile on his face. The moment between us was ruined. I couldn't help but get up and go downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen where I found Sammie sitting at the table on her phone. Her dark brown curls complimented her tan complexion. As I walked closer, I saw the black v-neck shirt and dark blue skinny jeans she had on. I pulled out a chair to her right, sitting beside her.

"Hey Sammie," I mumbled. I glanced at her, her eyes still trained on her phone. Her eyes had shades of brown eye shadow, along with a wing of black liquid eyeliner. She finally glanced up at me.

"Hey," she muttered back. "Here." She pushed the grande vanilla bean frappuccino that was on the table towards me. She picked up her own grande caramel frappe, sipping on it.

"Thanks." The air between was awkward and I wasn't sure what to say.

"So who's the new guy you didn't tell me about?" She said, tapping her fingers against the surface of the table.

"His name is Calum." I treaded carefully, unsure if she was mad at me for not telling her.

"Why didn't you tell me about him?" She laughed, smacking my arm. I cried out an 'ouch' out of instinct, grabbing my arm and smiling. "He was the guy who answered your phone, wasn't he? Are you guys a thing now? Doesn't he go to our school? I swear I've seen him before..."

"We aren't a thing.... yet. And yeah he goes to our school and answered my phone. He's just been ditching the classes this week. He has history with us."

"He's cute." She smirked, nudging my side. "I ship it."

"What the hell Sammie?" I laughed.

"So I take it you like him then?" She asked, ignoring my comment.

"Yeah, I think so." I felt my cheeks heat up. I quickly tried hiding my face by pulling my Starbucks up and sipping on it. "We should go to the mall! I need to buy a dress for tonight." I quickly changed topics.

"For what?" She questioned.

"Cal and I are going on a date tonight." I spoke shyly.

"What the hell? Let's go!"
