It was Saturday and I was so glad. I was going to just sit at home and watch tv and hang out in my room, until I got a phone call. I picked it up immediately with out checking who it was.

"Err...Hello!"

"Hi, it's Adam."

"Oh, hi what's up?"

"The sky, just kidding. So anyway I called to ask if you wanted to hang out?"

"Um..."

"Do you have any plans?"

"No."

'Then what's the problem?"

"Err..."

"Great so where do you live I'll come and pick you up."

"No it's fine how about I meet you."

"Yeah, sure. I saw this cafe near the Dairy, um something called Jenny or something like that..."

"Oh, you mean Jenifers."

"Yup that's the one."

"Okay I'll meet you in about twenty minutes."

"Okay bye."

"Bye."

Twenty minutes later I was on my way to Jenifers. Jenifers was pretty busy and it looked like all the seats were taken, great. I stood in the entrance looking for Adam. After a couple of seconds I spotted him, due to him waving like a mad man. I made my way over to him and was met with a dazzling and warm smile.

"Fancy seeing you here."Adam said grinning. I lightly smiled at his friendly manner. Why couldn't I be so warm and friendly?

"Well, I could say the same to you."I replied sitting down opposite him. We exchanged pleasantries and chatted for a bit before ordering. We both decided on the chicken and mayo sandwich. I had ice-tea and he had some fancy iced lemonade.

We finished our meals after a long hour spent chatting and can you believe it he made me laugh! I actually had fun and it defiantly beat spending my Saturday in my room doing nothing but surfing the Web and reading, boring I know but hey don't judge.

After lunch I took Adam into town and showed him some of the cool spots like the pier on the beach and the really small sweet shop down on Smithens street.

We got into trouble as Adam dropped a jar of sweets and then ran out leaving me to face the old lady who looked like she ate kids for dessert.

Let me tell you I had so much of spit in my face after the lecture about "teens and how reckless we are and blah, blah..." that I was literally dripping in spit. ( not cool).

The worst part was when Adam saw me coming out fuming and spit dripping of my face.

He found it hilarious and started to cry with laughter he was also rolling on the floor which made him look like a mental person.

This just made me even more mad that when he saw the look on my face after his little laughing fit he held up his hands in mock surrender and them sprinted of the street with me chasing after him.

After that whole senario we calmed down and went to the mall for super which was a very healthy Burger King. Ginger picked me up at around seven and I headed home.

"So did you have fun, sweetie?"Ginger asked while she was driving, glancing at me from the corner of her eye.

"Yeah, I did."I said turning to look at her from the passengers side of the car.

"Well I'm glad. You deserve to enjoy yourself."She said with a hint of sympathy, urgh I hate it when she speaks like that.

"Yeah..."I said not bothering to look at her. I was slightly irritated.

"So Chris and I would really like to meet this Adam person who you've become quite fond of."She said changing the subject swiftly.

"Um...I guess he's quite a debonair."I truthfully replied, shifting in my seat.

"Really, that's an interesting trait. I've always liked people who were confident and carefree."

'Then you'll love him."

"He isn't a werewolf right?" She asked

"Yeah, he's not, he's human."

"So...is he like cute..."She said wiggling her eyebrows at me suggestively.

Which made me blush for some reason I mean I'm not attracted to Adam we're just friends but I guess I've never had a boyfriend or a relationship for that matter. I've never even had a friend so come on talking about things like that do make me feel flustered.

Coughing slightly I muttered, "Well...I guess he's not SO bad." Shifting in my seat once more I glanced at Ginger to see her grinning for some foreign reason.

"What? Why you grinning all weirdly?" I asked her narrowing my eyes at her. She just laughed lightly and glanced at me again.

"Nothing, sweetie." She said still grinning. Seriously...

"Come on. Don't lie you're still grinning. So spit it out." I said huffing and crossing my arms over my chest.

She didn't answer me she just shook her head and looked straight forward at the road. Urgh, people they're so weird sometimes. "Look who's talking the person who's the exact epitome of weird." A little voice said in my head, what ever, even I'm annoying myself. "Told you." The voice said, urgh.
