I could practically taste the blood as my power grew and grew. I extended it until my claws imbedded into the minds of all the Spell Casters.

I wanted them dead. I wanted my own revenge for what they did to me. I wanted to finally be rid of them, once and for all.

My power was consuming me as I unleashed it, unbidden through out the castle. I could feel the lives being ripped from the Spell Casters. The sounds of the night were no longer filled with battle cries but screams of terror.

The more my power took, the more it wanted. I withdrew into my self and allowed my power to take control. It wanted more and more and more.

I don't know how long it took but soon all the Spell Casters were dead and I thought my power would finally be satisfied but it was not. It wasn't done yet.

It slithered through the castle and around the battle fields until it latched onto the souls of the werewolves. It wanted their souls. It wanted them dead.

Somewhere deep inside of me I knew what I was about to do was wrong, so very wrong and yet it felt so right. I wanted them, no it wanted them. It felt as if a flood gate had just burst open and there was no way for me to close it.

It was so close now, I was going to kill the werwolves. I just had to grip onto their consciousness and take a hold of their minds and then their souls will be mine.

"Victoria," someone croaked.

That voice, I know that voice. I stopped suddenly and looked around to spot where the voice was calling out from.

"Victoria...Victoria look at me. I'm here."

My eyes landed on a figure that was struggling to stand up. He fell and then got up slower this time. Once he was standing on his feet his blue eyes sought my white ones.

I looked at him as if he were a stranger and yet he felt so familiar. He-he felt as if I knew him in every way possible. My soul seemed to purr while he continued to look at us as if we were his everything. His past, his present, his future...his very life.

"Come to me please," he pleade as he took a step towards me. I hesitated and then took a small step towards him.

The storm had calmed down, it drizzled but the sky had pulled herself together again. The sounds of the world drained away as I focused on him.

He took another step towards me and I to him. Another and another, until we were in touching distance away from each other.

I croaked my head at him and tried to decipher who he was to me.

"You know me, I'm yours remember and you're mine." He said as his eyes searched my face.

I remained still as I studied him.

"Yours," I said confused.

"Yes, my soul mate."

"Soul mate?"

"Yes, remember the day we found each other. You were wearing those ridiculously cute polka dot pajamas and you were holding this huge bowl of popcorn. I thought you were the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes on and I knew you were mine. You knew too in that moment when our souls bound themselves to each other."

He took another step closer towards me. He was so close now that there was hardly any space between us. He stroked my cheek, "I'll never forget how you fainted and the popcorn flew from your hands and went everywhere."

I chuckled and then I paused as I didn't understand why I laughed at that memory....memory? I did know this man and I remember that day.

I stood shocked as he slammed his lips against mine. His tongue plunged into my mouth as he kissed me with everything he had. I remained standing in shock and then suddenly I gripped his hair and kissed him back. His arms flew around my waist and he crushed me into him.

His moved his hands until he was holing my face as he continued to kiss me...hard in the rain. I broke away for air and before I could even get a breath in he dove right back in and kissed me even harder.

Everything came flooding back slowly until it dawned on me that I had killed Cadmer and-and all the other Spell Casters. My eyes welled up as the realisation of what could have happened if Xavier didn't get to me in time. I could have killed everyone.

Xavier broke away this time and still holding my face he wiped the tears from my eyes. "What's wrong," he asked, knowing fully well what was wrong.

"I almost killed everyone."

"But you didn't," he said as he wrapped his arms around me. I rested my head onto his shoulder and allowed him to just hold me. My body, my mind, my soul was exhausted. One thought rang around in my head, it's over.

It's all over. We won. Peace at last.

I cried even harder at that thought. My entire life has been an ongoing battle and now I was at the end, with the love of my life holding me.

I wasn't alone.

Werwolves began to rush into the clearing, some in human form and others as wolves. Almost every space around so was filled with them as they circled us. We stood in the middle of it all, in each other's arms.

The rain had stopped .

I looked up into the sky and closed my eyes. I called on my wolf and she howled. It shook the earth. Xavier followed my lead and soon howls from all around filled the night sky.

Then one by one they sank to their knees. I watched transfixed as they bowed to us. Xavier to my amazement sank to his knees as well. I looked down at him in slight shock. Why was he bowing down to me?

When they all rose I felt like crying all over again but instead I humbly tilted my head in acknowledgment.

"You have all fought so bravely and it is because of all of you that we are victorious." I said as I looked at them, my werwolves.

"We are finally free of the Spell Casters! No more will they threaten our existence and our lives! We are safe and we are at peace." Xavier said and howls followed.

The aftermath was bitter sweet. When I saw the amount of bodies that littered the grounds, it was hard to keep my vomit down. So many lives, so many deaths.

The pryers were lit and their flames rose high into the sky the entire night until the early hours of the morning. We watched as the deceased bodies burnt into nothing but ash. I hated war.

Everyone lost someone they loved and yet I was fortunate for once in my life because Killian and Luca had survived. Luca was hospitalised however but we were told he would recover with time and medicine.

My heart was whole once I saw Ginger and Chris. They rushed towards me and both of them gave me a fierce hug.

I hadn't even known that were here and fighting. Apparently they arrived late and immediately just joined into the fight with a few other werwolves from different packs that were delayed in arriving.

Everything for once was okay until I went to get examined by the pack doctor.
