"Victoria! You will not believe it!"Xavier said enthusiastically as he rushed into our room.

I put the book I was reading on spell casters down and gave him my undivided attention.

"What, what is it? Please tell me it's good news!" I said.

He ran his hands through his hair absentmindedly and look directly into my eyes.

"It is, we found Adam!"

"What! Thank you Moon Goddess!" I shrieked as I jumped up.

"Finally a break! Some good freaking news for once!" I yelled out honestly so excited after finding nothing for weeks and getting nowhere.

"I know, my wolves informed me of his current location. They managed to track him by following his scent and thankfully they were successful. He is being brought back here as we speak."

"I'm really surprised they managed to capture him."

"As am I. Victoria I-I just wanted to let you know that you do not have to do anything that you do not want to do. You do not have to go and speak with him but if you do I will be right beside you and I promise you I will not let him harm you in any way." He said stroking a finger slowly down my face.

"Okay," I replied softly as I looked into his grey eyes. His eyes held so much of warmth for me it warmed my own heart. Xavier could really be sweet and gentle when he wasn't being a pain in my butt.

I flung my arms around his neck which took him by surprise and he lurched back a step.

"Whoah!" He said laughing softly.

"Sorry," I mumbled back into his chest. I could almost feel the smile on his face when he rested his chin on the top of my head. In his arms all my worries just washed away and it felt like the safest place on earth. It felt like home.

" I really hope our plan works."

"Firstly it was all your plan angel and secondly I am sure that it will. We will definitely get some usefully information out of that human filth." Xavier grumbled, I could feel his anger begin to rise at the thought of Adam.

"Yeah you're right we will get something out of him and by the way it's off topic but what is with all the nicknames lately? First My Queen and now angel ? If I do recall correctly I remember saying to call me just Victoria..." I said smirking as I pulled away from his chest but I didn't get far because he pulled me right back and tightened his arms around me.

"Well Buttercup I have decided I quite like nicknames and I am still deciding on which one to call you permanently," He purred.

" Hmmmph, well I'll make it easier for you I don't like Buttercup at all it's so, so girlie." I said scrunching up my face in distaste. Xavier just laughed at me again and replied with,

"Well then it is settled, Buttercup it is."

I pulled away from him and smacked his chest which he found even funnier and continued to laugh. Oh it's like that now?

"Well I take it you are feeling quite smug with yourself right now but to be honest I had a nickname for you to after we met actually."

That seemed to make him stop his laughing abruptly. He sobered up real fast and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Oh, pray tell what was it exactly? I am beyond curious," he said raising one eyebrow up. Which was a skill I must admit I did not posses.

"Hmmm no I don't think I want to tell you what it was. I'll only tell you if you promise not to call me Buttercup." I said holding out my pinkie ( yes I am a child).

Xavier lifted his hand to mine and I thought he was going to pinkie swear with me until he picked me up and swung me over his shoulder.

Not this again, I thought.

"Xavier, what the hell? Put me down!"I screeched but he just continued to carry me until he reached the bed and then he said,

"Okay, down you go," and then he dropped me onto the bed. I scowled at him as he descended over me like a mighty storm.

"Xavier I'm not goi-"I cried out as he began to attack me with tickles.

"Xav-Xavier ahhhhahaha, st-stooooop." I could barley even speak properly through my laughing and screeching at him to stop but he merely ignored me and continued his vicious assault laughing the entire time.

"Tell me, tell me what it was Buttercup." He said evilly.

Like hell I'll tell me.

"Noooooo" I said laughing as his fingers started to tickle my neck.

"I will not stop..." He continued until I really couldn't take it anymore and I was sure I had tears of laughter coming out of my eyes.

"Oka-okay I'll te-tell you!" He immediately stopped tickling me and I took a deep breath trying to get control of my body and told him.

" I called you and probably will continue to call you Weirdo."

His reaction was so comical I had to hold in my laugh at his puzzled expression.

" What, why that? " he said scrunching his face up as he looked down at me.

"Um... for obvious reasons. You were I mean and still are quite weird hence Weirdo." I said with a straight face.

"Hmmhmp, I am not weird." He said crossing his arms trying and failing to look indignant.

" Yes you are,Weirdo." I said sitting up and flicking his nose.

He caught my fingers in his hand and said huskily,

"Whatever you say Buttercup." We we're so close to each other our noses could of touched if I leaned forward. I rested my free hand on his shoulder as he pulled me closer and brought my fingers to his lips where he kissed them softly.

He didn't break eye contact as he laid me down once more but this time he positioned himself directly over me and braced his forearms on either side of my head.

His eyes were turning blue with lust.

"Xav-"I was cut off as he brought his lips down onto mine and kissed me slowly at first then he deepened the kiss and I wound my hands in his hair. He kissed as if he couldn't get enough of me and I kissed him back with equal insistency.

I made a soft sound in the back of my throat and he growled low at the sound of it which just managed to turn me on even more.

Xavier broke away from my lips and moved lower down. He left kisses on my jaw and started sucking on my neck which made my toes curl. He was just lowering his lips down onto my mating mark when he froze all of a sudden on top of me.

"What, what's wrong?" I asked.

His eyes turned fully blue and I knew it wasn't because of the lust this time.

"He's here, that filth is here,"He growled angrily.

Adam has arrived.
