I Got Broken

Chapter 1

It was a rainy day for us to move to another place. How depressing right?Well not for me, in order to maybe forget it if I can, I should stay away from it as I can. So now here I am sitting at the back seat of our car looking out the window with my earphones in tack.

"Gab anak, everything will be fine. Don't worry about all of it, malalampasan mo din yan, it's been a year after all." My Mom said, smiling at me from the front seat. Move on?Sana Mom madali lang yon. I know it's been a year already, but I just can't shake of the memory of it. There are so many point of views about moving on and what I knew is that moving on is a short time or a long time process. So some people move on in days and others in years. Apparently I'm one of the people who's in it with the long time process. I look at my Mom, and gave her a warm smile.

"Thanks Mom."

I didn't know I passed out so my Mom woke me up.

"Anak nandito na tayo."She said while tapping my shoulder.

A new place a new beginning, I heave out a big sigh. Sana nga...

Pumasok na kami sa bagong bahay, It was big but not as big as a mansion. It was spacious, fitted for just us three. Me my Mom and my Dad, but it would have been four of us if it weren't for that--- Uh never mind.

Mom directed me to my room, so I unpacked my stuff when I was finally left alone.

My room was okay, I had a light pink colored wallpaper, a bathroom at the side, an air-conditioner, a closet, some shelves, a normal sized bed with white sheets covering it which was in the middle and a bedside table with a normal sized lamp on top of it.

Pagkatapos kong mag unpack, nagbihis ako ng pang running na damit. Since the rain stopped, I went to explore the neighborhood.

"Mom, Dad gala po muna ako sa subdivision." Pasigaw kong pagpa-alam sa mga magulang ko. They approved so I went on. I was accompanied by music while I jogged. I must say maganda din pala dito, parang sa States lang din ang mga vibes ng mga bahay malalaki at modernized. I came pass through people who were sweeping their wet cemented floors in the outside part of their house, they even greeted me a good morning. Who knew people here could be so friendly.

They even have a mini gym here, saka may playground--- Teka tao ba yun?May nakahagip ng tingin ko, may tao na naka higa sa lupa ng playground. Uy hindi naman ata patay na?Nilapitan ko kaagad siya to find out. Naka harang yung braso niya sa mukha niya, saka ang basa-basa niya.Ilang oras na kaya siyang naka higa dito?I poked his tummy.

"Ma-ma, Are you okay?"There was no response. Lord please don't tell me this guy is dead. Pero hindi eh, humihinga siya. Then he suddenly moved and showed his face. A familiar pair of eyes stared at me as I stared back, silence took over us for maybe a minute. His cold eyes teared right through me, I can't quite remember where I've seen those eyes before. He suddenly stood up and walked away normally like him laying on the ground earlier didn't happen. Okay?did that just happen?Weird first day. Ano kayang problema nun?He looked sad from what I saw. Well it's not my business to know anyway, so with that I continued my exploring.

Pagbalik ko sa bahay, I heard my Mom and Dad discussing something. Something serious and it made me worry. Hindi nila napansin na nandito nako, so I listened to their conversation.

"Hon, I don't think she's ready. Nanggaling siya sa isang pinaka masakit na sitwasyon. Baka mas lalala pa siya pag ginawa natin to." Mom said with a worried expression.

"Wala na tayong magagawa Hon, nakapagdesisyon na si Mama. I know she's still young and has this problem going on. But this is going to help her and our family." Dad replied.

"So what are we going to do?Force her to do it?!I can't do that to our own daughter!She's still seventeen for peets sake!"Medyo nanlakas na ang boses ni Mom.

"I know, I can't do it too. But we have to, this is our only hope."Sabi ni Dad.

"Wala nabang ibang paraan?Gab is too young!And what if she wouldn't like it?Pano pag she'll hate us because of this?Do you think it's kind of a selfish thing to do?"Sabi ni Mom na parang iiyak na?Ano ba kasi tungkol to?

"We just have to make her understand the situation."

"What situation should I understand Dad?"Hindi ko na napigilan sarili ko't nagsalita nako.
