I Got Broken

Chapter 11

Pagkatapos naming kumain, bumalik na kami sa school. Another program was held in the school's auditorium. The program was all about letting everybody know who you are. There was this spotlight that roams around then stop at a specific person who has to show everyone who she or he is. Since there were many students, thank God I wasn't spotted but Tyler was. What he showed was him pretending to take pictures, he said he likes taking photos of everyday life. Hmmm funny, it reminded me of someone I knew a long time ago.

Then the spotlight roamed again and stopped at Jake. What he did was sing the Philippine national anthem, then he said "Ako ay makabayan!"And all the students laughed. Medyo kalog talaga minsan tong si Jake ano. But he was totally drop dead serious when he sang the song though.

Pagkatapos ng program ay kukuha nadaw kami ng lahat ng kakailanganin namin for the official class tomorrow such as books, our locker combinations and so on. When we all finished those, the principal said we could go to our homes and so we did.

Pagdating namin sa bahay dumiretso agad ako sa kwarto.

"Gosh this day was tiring."Sabi ko sabay higa sa kama. And without a minute or so I was fast asleep.

"Sofia."

"Sofia."

"Sofia wake up."Someone was waking me up.

"Five more minutes Mom."I said half a sleep.

"If you won't get up, I'll kiss you."When I heard those words my eyes automatically popped open.

"Don't you dare."Binantaan ko si Tyler na nasa paanan ng bed ko.

"Okay, okay I won't. I just came here to inform you that dinner is ready."He said crossing his arms.

"Fine, I'll be down stairs."Sabi ko, kaya umalis na siya sa kwarto ko. I looked at the time, it's 7 o'clock medjo matagal tagal na pala akong natulog. Before I went downstairs I changed into more comfortable clothes.

"Uy Gab kain na tayu."Sabi ni Manang habang naka upo na. Umupo nako at nag pray kaming tatlo, after that we started digging our food.

"This dinner is delicious."I commented.

"Glad you liked it, Manang helped me cook it."Sabi ni Tyler with satisfaction.

"Galing talagang mag lutu ni Ser Gab nu?"Tanong ni Manang.

"Ay Manang Blake nalang po. Saka tayong dalawa ang nag luto nito hindi lang ako."Sabi naman ni Tyler.

"Esus ko konti lang kaya ang naitulung ku , Nanay nalang din iatawag niyu sakin. Wag na ang Manang, parang matandang dalaga naman eyun nu?"Pabirong sabi ni Nanay which made us crack up.

Pagkatapos naming kumain I volunteered to wash the dishes since I really didn't help on preparing the meal. Nagtalo panga kami ni Nanay eh pero ako padin nanalo. It wasn't that big of a chore to do naman eh. Pagkatapos kong maghugas dumiretso uli ako sa taas at naghanda para matulog.

But before I went to bed, nag log in muna ako sa facebook. It's been a while since I last opened my account. When I got in I had twelve friend requests, seventeen notifications and one message. I clicked on the notifications and there I saw tagged pictures and invites to play games, then I clicked the friend requests. Nag send pala ng friend request sakin si Tyler and so did Justin, Jake and Seth. Nag plano ata ang mga mokong eh. I clicked confirm and just left the others who requested. I really don't accept people na hindi ko kakilala, baka ano pang gawin sakin through facebook eh. Pag click ko naman sa mga messages, I didn't know who the sender was. It just had a blank profile picture and the name was anonymous. The message said,

[He's mine, stay away from him or you'll regret everything.]

I was intrigued and at the same time I got chills because of the message. I didn't know if it was just a prank or this person meant to send it to another person. So to know if it really was for me, I replied.

[Excuse me, but I think you got the wrong person.]

After a couple of minutes the sender replied.

[Sofia Gabrielle Mendez,  I'm never wrong. Tyler Blake Chua is mine!Don't you dare take him away from me.]

Shit this is getting kinda creepy, the sender knows my name.

[Who are you?]

I replied with trembling hands.

[Oh you'll know soon enough.]

Okay that's it, I quickly closed my laptop. I couldn't breathe clearly.

Why does she know my name and more importantly why is Tyler involved. To solve this case I have to talk to Tyler about it, maybe tomorrow?Gab tell Tyler about this now. Fine, freaky voice in my head I'll ask him.

I went to Tyler's room and hoped that he was still up. I knocked on the door, but there was no response. I was gonna turn around when the door opens and Tyler's head popped right out. He's wearing glasses, he looks mature and hot---actually he looks kind of familiar but I can't really remember who he reminds me of, anywho back to the topic.

"Sorry was I disturbing?"I asked.

"Nope not really."He said showing off his pearly whites.

"Great uhm... "Say it Gab, come on. He was waiting for me to speak up, I cleared my throat.

"There's this anonymous person on facebook who messaged me a threat, and your name was kind of included."I said without breathing.

"What did it say?"He asked a little bit intrigued and serious.

"Uhm could I just show you?"I asked, lumabas siya sa kwarto niya at sinara ito.

Nung dumating na kami sa kwarto ko I quickly showed him the chat box. The look on his face says that he knows this person.

"Shit."
