"What situation should I understand Dad?"

Hindi ko napigilan sarili ko't nagsalita nako.

"Gab anak were you here the whole time?"Dad asked with a shocked expression.

"Just answer me dad, what situation?"Hindi maka tingin ng diretso si Dad sakin. What are they hiding from me?

"Now anak, hindi ka namin gustong biglain. We know that you've been through a lot lately. But this wasn't our decision. We wouldn't do this if it wasn't for something important. We didn't have a choice anak." He said making me frantic.

"Just cut to the chase Dad!"

"You're grandmother decided a fixed marriage. Now please let me finish. She did it because we didn't have that much of a choice, our company got low on sales and it's going down. And the only thing that could save it is to let you marry the son of one of the business partners that wants to help us. They already made a contract and we signed it. I'm sorry darling but this is our only hope to continue what we have now."My dad ended his speech.

"So you're saying that the company's more important than my rights?!Dad!What about me?Don't I have something to say about this?!"

"Gab anak, it's for our own good. If we don't do it then we lose all of this."My Mom said gesturing all the stuff in the house.

"Ugh!I'm not doing it!"I said angrily.

"Yes you are young lady."Someone said from the back. Great!Now my Grandma's here.

"Why don't you marry the guy then grandma and tell me how it feels to willingly marry a complete stranger!"I said with rage.

"Now don't use that tone with me, whether you like it or not you are gonna marry this fellow and you're not gonna stop my decision. And for the record he is not a stranger, you have already met him once."She said with authority to her voice.

"I hate all of you!"I said while running upstairs to my room.

How the hell could they do this to me?!I have my own rights!They're not the boss of me. I slumped to my bed. I looked at the picture at my bedside table. Bro I really wish you were here. You always know what to do. Why did you have to leave us so soon? I miss you, I hope you're doing fine there.

I plugged my earphones and listened to music to make me calm down.

*flashback*

"Hey squirt, want to know how to play my guitar?"he said smiling.

"Would I!"I said with excitement filling me.

"Okay so here are the basic chords, here's the A. Now you try it."He said while handing me the guitar.

"How do I do it again?"I asked, he chuckled and directed my fingers to the strings. I strummed and it sounded awful. He laughed so hard at what I did.

"Kuya naman eh!First time panga tinatawanan mo ko!Ayoko na nga!"Sabi ko sabay walk out. Pero hinarang niya kamay niya sa noo ko kaya napabalik yung ulo ko.

"Oh san ka pupunta?We're not finished here smarty pants. Tumawa lang nga eh nag walk out agad si bunso." Sabi niya sakin with a teasing tone.

"Ikaw kasi eh, you're making me feel that I played it like a stupid monkey or something."I stomped my feet. Nakakainis talaga tong si kuya. He always makes fun of me.

"Sorry na nga, dali na continue na natin."Sabi niya sabay kuha ng guitara.

"Ayoko na baka, pagtawanan mo nanaman ako!"I said determined not to learn.
