I Got Broken

Chapter 7

"Sakay tayo sa anchors away dali!"Is he really eighteen?Since we came here he had been dragging me into every booths and rides here. Malapit nang dumilim, at hindi ko na malayan ng dahil sa mokong nato.

"We rode that already, you know what?we should rest. Plus it's already dark, wala kabang planong umuwi?"I said while pointing at the sky which is almost pitched black.

"Hmmm alam ko na."He said it like there was a light bulb popping up above his head.

"Sa ferris wheel nalang tayo."Well not a bad idea, atleast he still thinks like a human.

"Fine, let's go then."

Habang papunta sa taas tong sinasakyan namin, I felt relieved and relaxed for once. I must say this is maybe one of the most tiring days I ever had.

"Did you have fun?"Tanong ng katabi ko, I just shrugged.

"It was fun but tiring."He looked at me like he couldn't believe what I just said.

"Really?You had fun?"He asked like he couldn't believe me.

"Can't I have fun?"I answered a question.

"Well you're still a human being, so I guess you're allowed to have fun."He said with a shrug. So what am I an alien then, if I didn't have fun?Tsk.

Biglang huminto ang sinasakyan namin.

"Ah this is the part I like the most, look."Sabi niya sabay turo sa bintana. Tinignan ko naman ang tinuro niya and WOW the sight was beyond amazing. Makikita mo ang mga ibat ibang kulay ng lights at ang mga tao sa ibababa, makikita mo din yung mga rides. I can see people having fun and also people screaming their ass off on those life threatening rides.

"First time seeing those."He pointed at my smiling mouth. Bigla ko namang inalis ang smile ko at bumalik sa expressionless self ko.

"You know you look more beautiful with a smile."Sabi niya.

"Shut up."Why does my cheeks burn whenever he compliments me. It's embarrassing to keep this up you know. Bigla nanamang umandar ang sinasakyan namin, good cause I don't want to humiliate my self infront of him any further.

"But you're even cuter when you blush."He chuckled.

"Could this thing go any faster?"I complained.

Pagdating namin sa baba, he dragged me again and we got to this shooting game. You know that game where you shoot something with a toy gun and you win some kind of price for the amount you've shooted.

"Let's play this one."He suggested.

"Ikaw nalang."Sabi ko, not interested.

"How about a bet?"Oh?I'm good at those things.

"I'm listening."Sabi ko with a gambling tone.

"Hmmm if you win, may ipapagawa ka saking isang bagay. And if you lose ako naman ang may ipapagawa sayo."He said with an evil grin.

"The one who shoots the most object wins, the dare is valid till tonight."Dagdag pa niya.

"Hmmm kahit ano ang ipapagawa?"I asked, then he nodded with an exaggerated slow movement. Hmmm if I win this I could make him disappear from my life.

"Deal."Sabi ko, am I really that confident?Well when me and my brother play shooting games I always win. So yeah I'm pretty confident in winning this one.

But that's what they say, too much confidence can bring you down. So the ending was I shot eight objects while he shot all ten. Great now I have to do a dare. I guess he can't disappear from my life just yet.

"Guess I win."He said with a winning victory smirk.

"Just get on with it."I said with irritation.

"Okay, I want you to kiss my cheeks."

"What?"

"You heard me."He said pointing at his cheeks.

"No way, I'm not gonna do that."Sabi ko na tila nandidiri.

"A dare is a dare."Sabi niya na pinanindigan ang dare niya.

"Can't I do something else?"I pleaded.

"Hmmm okay, kiss that mascots butt."He pointed a bear mascot dancing weirdly at a stand.

"Fine I'll kiss your cheeks."I said frantically. He just smiled with lots of achievement in his eyes.

"I shouldn't have agreed to this."I muttered.

"What was that?I didn't hear you."As if you didn't.

"Nothing."I said while rolling my eyes.

"Go on, get on with it."Uh this is so embarrassing. I hear people from the side saying we're so sweet daw. Haven't heard of mind your own business people?

"I should have stayed at home."I muttered as I came close to kiss his cheeks.

"Hmmm?"

Shit.

He suddenly turned to look at me, so instead of kissing his cheeks I ended up kissing his lips.

I quickly took a step back and looked away.

"W-why d-did you just..."I said not geting a grip on myself.

"What?You said something I didn't hear."He said like us kissing was just a normal thing to do.

"Ugh jan ka na nga!"I walked away with frustration. Lumabas nako sa EK at naghintay na may dumaan na taxi. Just as I was going to wave my hand to signal the taxi to stop. Tyler grabbed my arm and turned me around.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I mean you said something and I didn't hear it so I turned around."He explained with a pleading tone.

"Get your hands off me."Sabi ko na galit na galit. He did it and with that sumakay nako ng taxi nung may huminto sa harap ko. As I got in I told the driver where I lived. Nang umandar na ang taxi tinignan ko si Tyler na nakatayo parin sa pwesto niya. Bahala ka na diyan, may kotse ka naman eh.
