Chapter 22

Opening na ng Founders week namin, and I must say ang daming tao. Allowed kasi ang mga outsiders eh, so mas nag doble ang number of people.

And as expected sa café namin, mas marami ang ratio ng mga babae well girls and half girls. Nakaka inis nga yung iba eh, tama si Jordan expect flirty ones. Lagi kasing nagpapa cute, kala mo kung puppy pa eh matatandang aso na. Saka ang mga boses nila, sinasadya ba nilang mang irita ng tenga?I mean who has that high pitched of a voice?

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Selos ka naman?

Why should I?Ako magseselos sa lalanding babae kay Tyler?No way!

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Bakit nag mention ako ng pangalan?Sus!Wag masyadong defensive.

Would you just shut up?

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Shut up na nga, anong bang sinabi ko?

"Uy Gab?Have mercy on the strawberries. Hindi nanga buhay, papatayin mo pa. Nasaan ang hustisya?"Sabi ni Jordan with concern on the strawberries I'm chopping.

"Sorry, I was just thinking of something."I said while I put the strawberry pieces on a bowl.

"Something or Someone?"I glared at her remark,"Oooh Payback is like a bitch."She said grinning evily at me. I just ignored her and focused on my task.

"Oh come on Gab, I know you're jealous. I can see it in the way you look at those girls na pinag se-serve ng dessert ni Tyler. Kulang nalang eh, sub-sob mo pati yung kutsara sa mga lalamunan nila eh."Jordan said amused at me.

"I do not."I said stubbornly.

"Fine, be like that."She said still amused then left.

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Wag kang mag alala Gab, ikaw love nun.

I'm not jelous okay?!

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Sabi ko nga, bye exit muna ako.

"Strawberry short cake, on table 7."

I went to the fridge and sliced a piece of the said cake and put in on a plate. I immediately gave the plate without speaking and looking at the person who's about to give to another high squeaking flirtatious girl.

"Uh Sofia okay kalang?"He asked, I just stared coldly at him.

"Tyler the cake daw on table 7!"Sigaw ni Justin.

"Coming!"Before he left he took a quick glance at me, with a questioning look.

The day ended with me ignoring Tyler on the way home. I don't know why I'm such in a bad mood today. Ay ewan ko ba nakakainis na eh.

"Sofia?"A knock on the door startled my thinking self."Could you please open the door?"

I opened the door, and stared coldly at the tall figure infront of me.

"Are you ignoring me?"Tanong niya sakin with a longing tone. I swiftly turned my back on him, I'm not really in the mood for this.

"Sofia, what's wrong?"Tanong niya ulit

"Nothing."I answered bluntly.

"Let's talk."He said.

"I'm not in the mood."I said with one tone.

He suddenly hug me from the back.

"Please."He pleaded, there it is again the feeling of him around me. Nanghina ang tuhod ko, my heart beat accelerated.

"Sabi ni Jordan sakin nagselos kadaw kaya ka ganyan."How dare her, humanda siya sakin bukas.

"Is it true?"I kept silent, I could just say NO right?But why can't I?

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Kasi nag seselos ka nga.

But you're wrong, I can't be jealous cause I don't have the right to be.

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Ang selos ay hindi lang para sa may karapatan, para din yan sa may nararamdaman.

I just can't develop feelings just like that, could I?

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Abay wag mo akong tanungin, nasa utak moko. Ang nasa puso ang tanungin mo.

"Sofia, please just answer me."Sabi niya sabay higpit sa yakap niya.

"Fine, I wasn't okay?"I lied-or did I?- along with a sigh."I was just bothered by all those girls whith high pitched voices as they order. I mean for me that was damn irritating, happy?"I feel him chuckling from the back.

Oh he is.

"Sorry I just couldn't take it."Then he burst out laughing, ugh so much for saying the semi-truth.

"What's so funny?"I said with irritation.

"Nothing it's just that you look even cuter when you're jelous."He said between his laughter.

"Argh umalis ka na nga sa kwarto ko!"I said pushing him out my room, but of course I couldn't budge him.

When he had the sanity, he stopped laughing and looked at me intently.

"Ano?"I said cautiously.

"Why?"Tanong niya with a grin.

"Anong why?"Tanong ko, with a raised eyebrow.

"Bakit."Sagot niya innocently.

"Alam kong Bakit ang tagalog ng Why. I'm not dumb, I know my tagalog."Sabi ko sa kanya.

"Hey wala ka namang ipag se-selos eh."Ano bayan he's so weird, he changes topics so easily.

"I was not jealous okay?."Sabi ko not looking at him.

"But you were."Sabi niya na tila natutuwa.

"No I wasn't."I argued.

"Yes you were."He argued.

"No I wasn't."

"Yes you were."

"Wasn't."

"Were."

"Wasn't."

"I love you."

"What?"I didn't hear what he said on the last part because it was more of a whisper.

"Nothing."He smiled.

"Uh just get out okay?"I said still pushing him out.

"Okay jelous Mrs. Chua in the future."He left quickly aout saying those words and after kissing my cheeks, aba nakakarami na yun ah. I therefore conclude that he's an alien, ang weird niya kasi eh. Hay makatulog nanga.

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Uy nag selos nga siya.

Epal mo kahit kelan and I wasn't jealous.

SVIMH(Strange Voice In My Head): Abay ganun po talaga ang buhay, may epal talaga. Saka tama na nga yang pagsisinungaling mo.

Okay?Talking to nothing again. SLEEP, I need sleep.
