Chapter 6

Minhos POV
I woke up early as usual I went to see if anyone's awake and Newt was.
"Hey is Catherine awake?" I asked Newt
"I don't know..... Check! it's not like if I see if she's asleep or not"He exclaimed
"Dang chill.....Ill go check" I said and walked into their room
The other girl was asleep and Catherine was not there.
"Cat?"I whispered around the room
"Minho"She said from the back of me
"Where were you!?"
"I was outside looking for you"
"Well cmon lets go"I said and walked away, her following along
""The doors opened a minute ago.....hurry and go" Newt said
Newts POV
The doors opened and Minho wasn't out here. They soon came out of the homestead.
"The doors opened a minute ago!.........hurry and go" I said
Then Minho started running to the entrance.
I grabbed Cathy's arm.
"You know grabbing me from the arm is not gonna stop me"She said
"Im not stopping you I just wanted to say.........be careful out there"
"I will" She said then ran into maze with Minho
I have a bad feeling about this.
After they left I woke everyone up.
Minhos POV
Me and Cat were running until we reached section 7. I ran toward the other section. I looked at it and it didn't look familiar at all.Its was new section I walked in and it was the number 8.
"Cathy come over here stay close"I said and she stood next to me
"Is this what you see everyday?"She said looking around
"Yeah but I have never seen this"I said walking around
"Well let's explore this area"She said as she walked in front
"Ok but stay close" I said as got in front of her"
*a few hours later*
"I thinks it's getting a little late.... We should get going" Cathy said
"Yeah we should cmon lets go"I said we ran toward the entrance of the section and it was closing.
"Cmon we have to run fast trough here" I said but she grabbed my arm before I could step a a foot in
"We can't make it..... But look that wall over there opened we can make it though over there" She said pointing at the other side of the section.
"Ok cmon lets go" I said as we started running
We ran and made it to the opening wall.
"What are we waiting for .....lets g-"Cathy was saying but I covered her mouth with my hand and pulled her over to me.
"Shhhh there is a Griever over there"I whispered on her ear.She nodded
I herd footsteps running this way. I looked at it was Ben running as fast as he can. The Griever following behind him after a few meter away from the exit. The Griever devoured Ben .
"Cathy cmon lets go "I said as I let go and ran trough the closing doors of the walls
I was out already when she still on the other side
"CATHY WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!" I shouted as loud as I could
Catherine's POV
I stayed behind because I had an idea.
I shouted and the Griever heard me so it was coming my way.
I ran as fast as I could. The Griever was following behind me. The walls were closing in on me.
I ran and ran I got out of the walls but I keep running. I looked back for a second to see the Griever let out a shout of pain. It was dead. I the fell and hurt my leg.
"What the hell Catherine! You could've died! " Minho shouted
"But I didn't!" I said
"You killed the Griever" He said as he looked at what I did
"Yeah I did" I said still on the floor
"So are you going to help me?''
"Oh yeah sorry"Minho said and helped me up
"Ow ow ow " I said
"What what's wrong" He said worried
"My leg......I think I I broke it"
Newts POV
I was worried sick they still haven't returned and the doors closed.
"Hey Newt what's wrong?"A voice approaching me said then I saw it was Jessica
''Nothing" I said
" there is something wrong you didn't eat breakfast and you haven't moved from here ever since those doors closed and they closed 2 hours ago and you didn't want to eat." She said
"I'm just worried about Minho and Catherine"
"They are ok....."
"How do you know?"
"I don't know exactly-
"Exactly you don't know"
"Newt I meant that they are going to be ok....they both can handle what's out there they are both incredibly smart, they are not going to do stupid stuff out there they are smart enough to do the right decisions out there" She explained
"Yeah they are" I agreed 
Catherine's POV
"Minho be quiet for a second" I said
"What for?" He questioned
"Shhhh" I said and he stayed quiet
I looked around section 3 ad at the end of the wall there was a Griever.
"Minho we have to hide" I said
"Why?"
"There's a Griever over there" I said pointing at it
"Oh shuck" He said
"Quick hide under the Ivy" I said as I dropped to the ground and rolled under it Minho following along
I suddenly heard the Grievers heavy legs roaming closely.
I took heavy breaths and then suddenly everything turned black
Minhos POV
The Griever went by us then it left somewhere.
"Cat cmon lets go" I said but I got no response.
I turned around to see Cat with her eyes shut. I started shaking her but she didn't seem to move. I hear her pulse it was still beating. She must've fainted. I decided just to stay there till morning.
Newts POV
I stayed up all nigh and stood in front of the walls, waiting till they opened. It turned into morning and the doors opened, revealing no one.
I went back to the homestead and woke up Thomas and Winston.
"What'd you wake us up for?"Thomas said
"I want you guys to go run out there and look for Catherine and Minho" I demanded
"What for?" Winston said
"They haven't returned here since yesterday I want you to go look for them. Bring them back!" I said making it clear.
"We will" Winston said
"What's going on here?" A sleepy Jess approached us
"Nothing, love go back to sleep" Thomas said to her
"Love?" I questioned
"Yeah" Thomas said "Go back to sleep Jess"
"I'm ok....I'm helping frypan prepare breakfast" She said
"Thomas cmon we have to go" Winston said
"Go where?" Jess asked
"For gods sake go back to sleep!"Thomas said to her
"Dang ok!"Jess said using the same tome Thomas used and then she walked away.
"Well are we going to get going or what?" Thomas said with attitude
"Well go!" I said and then they ran towards the maze.
Catherine's POV
I woke up to the pain on my leg. I looked around and saw Minho laying next to me. We were still under the ivy which made me feel claustrophobic. I shook him till he woke up.
"What?"He said
"Let's get going! So we can make it into the glade! We're hours away" I said as I pushed him out.
"Cmon let me help you" he said as he got out
As he got me out. I couldn't feel my right leg. He stood me up and I put my arm over his shoulder, then he helped me get going.
Thomas POV
As me and Winston ran we went separate ways to find them faster.
"Minho! Catherine?! " I shouted with all my strength.
No response. At was already noon and me and Winston had to get going. I went back to he entrance of the Glade. Where Winston had been waiting.
"Did you find them " I asked
"No nothing" he said
"You want to take one more look again?" I asked
"I don't think we will find them."
"Ok let's go then" I said and with that we entered the glade and newt was sitting along the wall. As soon as he saw us go in he stood up immediately.
"Did you find them" He said looking into the maze.
"No we didn't" I said looking down
"Oh my god" he said hesitating then ran off.
Catherine's POV
Me and Minho have been running but very slow because of me. He's been helping me with my leg. But I just feel like if I, slowing him down we got to the entrance of the maze a few hours later but just our luck the doors were closing.
From a afar we saw Newt running here as fast as he could but he didn't step am fit into the maze.
Newts POV
I took one look into the maze hoping they would appear. Just my luck they did. I ran as fast as I could.but I didn't dare to step a foot onto the maze.
"Thomas! Winston! Come help them" I shouted as loudly as I could.
I then saw Minho running here and made it into the glade but Catherine wasn't with him.
Thomas was about to step in but I pushed him back and made my way into the maze. I ran along the closing walls after I made it into the maze I then heard a loud noise meaning the doors closed. I was panting very hard.
"Why the hell did you get yourself in here" Cat's voice ringed troughs my ears.
"So you wouldn't be alone here" I said
" so to give me company?"
"You wouldn't have had made it troughs the night"
"I just survived one.... Maybe two" She said looking at me
I soon approached her and sat next to her.
"Can we at least hide somewhere before it gets darker?" She questioned
"Cmon lets go" I said as I stood up "why aren't you standing? Let's go"
"Can't you see I broke my leg" She said I then looked at her leg and saw the pants she was wearing the part but the knee was red.
"What happened?" I asked
"No time to explain let's get out of here" she said
"Wait" I said I took of my shirt and pulled up her right legged pants and wrapped my shirt around the top of her knees tied it tight. I looked at her and she was looking at my body. I couldn't help but smile.
"Ow that hurts" She said while looking at what I was doing
"Cmon lets get you up" I said handing her my stick
She got ahold of it and stood her self up.
Catherine's POV
As newt took of his shot I couldn't help but to look. He has abs and he is very muscular.
'No eyes on your leg' I reminded my self
I looked at his face and he smiled knowing I was looking at his body. Gosh.
"Ow that hurts" I said as he tied his shirt around my knees
"Con let's get you up" he said as he handed me his wooden stick. I took it from his hand and stood my self up.
We walked to the wall next to the entrance.
"Here let's hide here" I said as I saw ivy under the wall.
He helped me down an then he went down.
We stayed there for a few minutes silence.
"I told you you wouldn't last here" He said breaking the silence and the turning around to look at me or faces inches apart.
"I did last look at me not dead" I whispered
"With a broken leg" he said
"But I'm alive!" I said a little louder
" barely" he said
"Oh shut up I'm alive here am I because I- I was saying but he cut me off by placing his hand above my lips making me stay quiet but I managed to take his hand of my mouth.
"What the hell!" I said loudly p
" shut up" he said
" no I won't you - I then felt a pair of lips on my mouth knowing it was newt he pulled away and then I stayed quiet.
Newts POV
I kissed her our lips moved together in a sync. Man I always wanted to do that. I loved her. Wait did I just say I loved her. Omg I'm falling hard. I pulled away and she laid quiet. The Griever went past us.
*Next morning*
I woke up to the light of the sun blinding my eyes. I was about to stand up but I felt a head on my chest. It was Catherine.
She was even more beautiful when asleep. I kissed her forehead. I was about to kiss her lips when some footsteps were running past us. I slowly laid Cathy's head on the floor. I looked around to see Thomas and Minho running. I shouted their names and they soon approached us.
I woke up Cathy and slowly helped her out.
"Whoa what happened here!" Thomas said as he saw me shirtless
"Relax nothing bad...... I wrapped my shirt around her leg" I said
"Why?" Thomas questioned
"She broke her leg" I said "Which the stupid shank of Minho left her here alone like that!" I said as I shoved Minho.
He soon shoved me back. I threw a punch at his face.
"Hey hey hey... Calm down" Thomas said as he got in between us.
I then helped Cathy up and then we made it into the glade.
"Someone get the Medijacks!" I shouted as we went in.
They soon came in and took Catherine.
