The next few days days were fine and we all were just what seemed a little quieter then usual.
I didn't really know what was going on.
Everybody seemed on-edge.
But we couldn't leave, it was so insane but we couldn't!
We had to stay. How could we just leave this place? This place where our friends had been murdered before our eyes.
I didn't know why, or how long we'd be here. But we were staying.
We had a campfire that night, trying to remain as normal as possible.
There was small talk exchanged but not much else.
We were all talking about what our plans were for the next day when Michael stood up, and within a second he had collapsed.
Aaron and Austin kneeled down beside him and Austin checked his pulse.
"There's still a beat." He said relieved.
But I wasn't paying attention. As soon as he had fallen I turned towards the woods. My eyes were concentrating on the darkness beyond the trees.
I saw nothing.
I turned back around to see what was happening with Michael.
He was just lying there. Barely breathing.
But he sat up. He looked as pale as a ghost.
A relieved sigh escaped my mouth, but in a matter of a second my relief became fear.
His hands were twitching and his breathing became unnaturally quick and short. His eyes were looking all around at us. He stood up and scanned the property.
He took a step, and another. He wasn't walking towards the woods but towards the house.
He pulled something out of his pocket, I quickly realized what it was.
It was his silver knife he brought everywhere.
He turned around and faced us all.
He took his knife and stuck out his arm. He dug the blade into his wrist and slid it upwards.
Blood was everywhere.
I heard a scream from which I knew had come from Brianna.
Michael put his hand on his arm and wiped off some of the blood.
He walked over to the house and went up to the window of the room where Eli and Zach slept.
He started to paint on it, with his blood.
He drew a circle with an X inside of it.
