All of us just sat in the kitchen, all day.

Trying to make a bit of small talk but failing miserably.

Nobody had the faintest idea of what to do. We had just closed and locked the door to what had been Eli and Zach's room.

Not moving them. Not even touching them. We had to do something but it was not the time for that.

I sat with Aaron on the small bench in the kitchen. His head was in his hands and I couldn't see his face. But every so often I would here a small sniff, and I knew he was crying.

I leaned in and put my head on his shoulder and we sat in silence as our friends trickled out, attempting to do something, anything they could think of. Sam and Brianna started dinner for us, it was delicious but nobody ate much.

...

It was 8 o'clock before Justin said we had to do something about Eli and Zach. Everybody knew he was right so Aaron and Justin went down the hall to their old room.

In a matter if a couple of second I heard Aaron's footsteps coming back towards the kitchen.

"Th-there's nothing there." He said, stuttering.

"What do you mean nothing?" I said

"Their gone." said Justin coming up behind Aaron.

I walked back down the hall with Aaron at my side and when I looked into the room I realized they were right.

There's was no sign of them. The beds made, nothing had been moved or even touched.

The only thing slightly out of place was the window that was ajar.

And in the distance, on the edge if the woods I saw a tall man slip back into the coverage of the trees.
