I can't take it anymore. It's been two years and I can't do it. I can't do anything.

School started and my grades went from straight A's I had last year to F's. I couldn't concentrate on anything. My coach looks at me in pity and I hardly ever play anymore. I overheard him saying something about kicking me off the team. It doesn't matter though. Nothing does.

I couldn't eat and I was losing weight. And energy, and any will to carry on. I couldn't do it.

So one day, before school, after I said goodbye to my parents as they left for work, I wrote them a letter, saying I loved them and explaining everything that had happened, even though they would never believe it.

I left it on the kitchen counter and I grabbed some things and went to my car and drove away.

I drove to the woods.

I ran deep into the trees until it didn't matter what direction I looked, I was surrounded by trees.

I ended up in a small clearing in the trees.

I recognized it, only because it had couple of footprints in the soft earth, and those footprints matched the ones I was making today.

I decided this was the spot.

I took the rope, and tied it in a perfect noose. Hung it from a tree branch, and stepped onto a stump.

Here I go.

This is where it finally ends.

I can be free again.

Maybe I'll even see Lilly again.

I could only hope.

I put the loop around my neck and stepped off foot of the stump.

Then the other.

And while I hung there, before I took my last breath, I saw it. The monster that had caused this.

My body hung there.

And I was gone.
