I brought the tea back upstairs to Brianna, but she had fallen asleep. I set it on the the little table next to the bed and turned off the light. I heard Aaron at the door and turned around to walk back out. I closed the door behind me.
"She's asleep." I said.
"Good, hopefully she'll sleep through the night, take her mind off things." Aaron replied.
We walked back downstairs and joined everybody else back in the living room.
We sat on the floor and nobody said anything.
Finally after many minutes of silence Justin stood up.
"What the hell are we still doing here? Our friends are being murdered and yet we stay here! Why!"
"Justin, calm down." Said Aaron.
I looked at Aaron.
"Aaron, he's right." I said "What are we doing here? I mean, I've wondered it too. But, I always end up coming up with the same answer. We have to stay."
"But, it's not safe here." Said Hanna."
"I agree with both of you." Eli said. "But Lilly is definitely right. There's something about it that makes me feel like I have to stay."
"What happens now then?" Said Sam.
"We go to bed." Aaron replied.
