It was noon of the next day and everybody was up and starting to get lunch together. Except for Eli and Zach, apparently they were still sleeping.

It seemed odd but then again nothing that has been happening here was normal.

I went down the hall with two sandwiches and some cups of water on a tray to see if they were hungry.

I knocked but there was no response; so I opened the door and went in.

Both boys were just lying there. Beds made almost to perfectly, and they were lying on top. Perfectly still.

I dropped the tray and the glasses both shattered. A screamed tried to escape my mouth but there was nothing. I hardly noticed the broken glass and ran over to the nearest bed that Eli was laying on.

His eyes were milky white and his forehead stone cold. His skin was pale with slight tint of green. His body stiff and I couldn't move him if I tried.

His right hand was gripping a piece of paper, I tried to get it out and with three failed attempts I almost gave up. Finally I yanked it free of his grasp.

It was a piece from his notebook he always had with him. He never really spoke a lot but he was a journalist and would write everything and anything that happened to him.

I unfolded the paper and there were two words written on it.

"It's him."
