The Name

When the nurse comes back with our baby girl all clean in a blanket, I look over at Elliot, he has tears in his eyes.
She hands me our baby. She has her eyes closed. She is sleeping.
"Oh my god she is beautiful" Casey says
"Thank you"
"I told you she would have your nose!" El says."I bet she will have your eyes aswell!"
"Yeah well she has your smile" I say.
He kisses me, then kisses her.
"Look she is opening her eyes" he says
She yawns and opens her eyes. She looks up at me with her two beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
"She I told you she would have your eyes! She has your kick aswell!" He says kissing me on the top of my head.
"Ill go see where capt,munch and Finn are" Casey says as she leaves the room.

"El, what are we gonna call her?" I ask
"I don't know, what do you want to call her?"
"I don't know, we don't have to decide now" I say.

Casey, Cragen, munch and Finn walk in the room about 20 minutes later.
"Liv she is beautiful!" Finn says.
"Yeah she looks like Elliot!" Munch says sarcastically. "No she is really beautiful Liv!"
"Have you got a name?" Cragen asks
Well I had thought of one.
"Not yet" I say.

When everyone had left it was just me and El.
"El,"
"Yeah"
"I have thought of one, but if you don't like it then just say"
"Okayyy"
"Would you mind if we name her after my mom?"
"Oh my gosh of course not, Serena, it's beautiful"
"And could her middle name be Maria?"
"Yeah, of course, Serena Maria Benson it's beautiful"
"Serena Maria Benson-Stabler" I correct him.
"Okay" he whispers as he presses his lips on mine.
