I had no inspiration whatsoever to write this chapter, so I'm also sorry about that. However, I hope you still enjoy it (:
MUCH MUCH LOVE, Lauren x
Louis POV
The rest of the holidays go by in a flash, and the next thing I realize I'm setting my alarm clock for six thirty in the morning. The second and final semester of the year begins tomorrow, and I can honestly say that I've somewhat missed the familiar routine of going to bed earlier, and having a quicker start to my day the next morning.
Now, I say that I missed the familiar routine, but not that I enjoy waking up at bloody six thirty in the morning! It's fucking torturous! You'd think that if school would start later in the morning, not only the students, but teachers would be a bit more enthusiastic during class periods.
I can't stress this enough of the amounts of times that I've ranted about this to Liam, "Lou, do you think all school boards are going to change the entire school schedule just because you don't wanna wake up early?" He says dryly, rolling his eyes before continuing to make his breakfast.
I cross my arms in disappointment, "Well, yeah! They should, at least."
Liam laughs at that, and walks past me with a breakfast sandwich in hand, leaving me alone to make my own meal. I settle on a bowl of cereal, being the only thing I can possibly make without burning it. I finish it off, and place the bowl, for once, in the sink.
I check the time on my phone, and notice that I should be leaving the house in at least five minutes if I want to be in my classroom at a somewhat early time. "I'm heading out Li!" I shout as I walk towards the front door.
I hate mornings with Liam. While I'm having to get up early to go and head off to work, he's waking up early, but only so that I can have company. Liam doesn't have to focus on getting ready, because he works from home as a systems analyst, or something along the lines of involving computers. He's always had that kind of mindset with technology and numbers. Basically, he is fucking amazing at math, whilst I still struggle with simple addition.
I walk through the front doors of St. James with my head low, too lazy to keep it upright due to my lack of sleep, causing me to run into a petite body. I snap my head up, and help pick up the fallen books from our small collision, "God, I'm so sorry. Guess I should've learned better than to walk with my head facing the ground," I joke, standing up to hand two of the books to the other woman.
She lifts her head, and I recognize her by the name of Britt. She gives me smile, which I recognize all too familiarly. Britt, the woman who would flirt with me with any chance she got. The immediate second the I stepped through the office doors for my interview with Mr. Williams, she was already batting her eyelashes, and pressing her arms tighter into her chest, making her boobs seem bigger. Like, Jesus, I'm not into that shit!
I'm gay for all that is mighty!
"Oh, you are more than forgiven. I rather enjoyed the little shove," she winks, and turns her back to walk away, and I can tell she's swaying her hips a little more than usual. I shudder at the feeling of just being hit on by a girl. For the most part, I try to make it fairly clear that I'm not into women. Whether it be my tight jeans, or my hair jelled up into a quiff. I'm not sure what it is, but Britt seems to be the first woman to ever be blinded by my lack of interest, and it's rather amusing to witness her trying so hard. It's like she thinks she's the shit.
