It's been a while !! Sorry for the long wait. There has been some family issues going on, and I guess this story wasn't really my #1 priority during all of that. Again, I'm so so sorry, and I hope you all understand (:
I also hope that you all are enjoying your day! If anything happens to be bothering you, don't feel afraid to message me ... I'll always answer (:
Enjoy the update x

Louis POV
Riiiiing riiiing
I reach forward across the desk, and grab the phone attached to the answering machine by a long, spiral chord. "Ello?" I ask chirpily, knowing that it has to be another staff member, since they dialed my classroom phone number.
"Mr. Tomlinson?" A female voice asks.
"Yes. Can I help with anything?" I question, already aware of what's awaiting.
"Another bouquet of flowers were delivered by a Mr. Harry Styles a few minutes ago. Thought I'd call for you to come pick them up on your lunch break."
"I'll be down in a couple minutes, just dismissed the students maybe five minutes ago for their lunch," I reply, standing up from my swivel chair, phone still in hand.
"See you then," and with that, the line goes dead. I hang up the phone, and walk out the door to my classroom. This has become a familiar pattern for me. I receive a call from one of the school's secretaries, which unfortunately means that every once in a while I have an awkward encounter with Britt, and I always am told the same message. 'Harry Styles has left a nicely wrapped package for you, and asked that you'd come pick it up.' 'A letter was left for you from Mr. Styles.' In the past month, I've gotten maybe fifteen things sent to me at the school. Sometimes, there will be a lovely single rose flower laying peacefully in front of Liam and I's apartment, or a box of chocolates.
I appreciate the gestures from Harry, but I didn't realize they'd go on for this long. Honestly, I still feel like shit, and I've had to contain myself from falling back into Harry's arms, and his 'love declarations', or whatever you want to call the sweet and thoughtful messages/gifts, doesn't help the matter.
But I also can't help but feel guilty for continuing to openly receive his offerings. I mean, am I sending wrong signals? I'd love to jump into our old relationship again, but I still think that we need time, and space, neither of which Harry is giving us.
I grab the envelope with my name on it that Britt hands to me as I enter the office, and don't waist another second of time in there. I hurriedly exit the room, and speed walk back to the class, anxious to read the letter, as embarrassing as that may sound.
Hope you are having a beautiful day. I've been thinking about you a lot, and wanted you to know that you're still the only thing on my mind. X
I continue reading, and smile at his words. I place the envelope neatly inside of my bag, not having an inch of ability to throw away a hand written letter from Harry. I don't know where someone's mind was at if they had the decency to be able and pull something like that off.
I send Harry a quick text saying that I received the letter, and appreciate it a hand full, and then pocket my cell phone.
Like I've said, it's become a pattern. The gifts, and then sending him a quick thank you.
The rest of the day drags, and I finally find myself packing my laptop inside of my bag, and walking out the front doors. I smile and say my goodbyes to any other staff members I encounter on my way out, but just like anyone else, I'm more than happy to finally be leaving the school premises.
