--- Safiya's POV ---

I could feel the blush on my cheeks. And I could tell by Darius' growing smirk that he noticed it too. "I'm... I think I may have been misinformed about the situation here... So I'm... Gonna go now." We both turned our gaze over to Jasmyne, who focused on me with a glare. "I still don't like you any less though." She said her glare focusing a little more, before she changed her glance to Darius. "I had heard from my palace officials that a measly peasant had broken into your palace, captured the princess, and blackmailed you with her life to cancel our marriage and marry her instead. I came down here with the intention of getting rid of such scum. This information, however, seems to have been a complete fabrication. As you seem completely in love with her. I apologize for my mistake your highness, I hope Arabia and Egypt can remain allies none the less?" Darius just started laughing.

"Yeah, yeah, alright, We will still be allies. What I want to know is just what dimwit came up with that tall tale!" He continued laughing to himself. I honestly just didn't even know what to think on hearing this. Jasmyne gave Darius one last smile before she turned her glance to me, glared and then left the room. Even though she doesn't seem as bad as I initially thought, I don't think we will ever be able to be friends after what happened today. I looked down at Darius who was laying on my lap laughing. "How long do you intend to laugh at this?" He started to settle down his laughing soon after that. Then he gave me a genuine smile, as he started playing with my hair. "Why is your hair still blue?" "Because I never dyed it back." He looked at me smugly. "You should dye it back." I raised my eyebrow at him. "And why is that?" He gave me a quick smile. "Because you look like a complete dork! I don't want to be associated with a blue haired wife."

I let out a laugh. "You assume I'm going to marry you!" He gave me a smirk. "Yeah, I also assumed you had a crush on me when I was 15... I was right." I could feel myself blushing. He twirled my hair one more time before he said. "Seriously though change it back to what your original color was. Your hair was a lot prettier then." He got off my lap and started to head towards the door. "Oh you are actually leaving me alone for once! That's rare." He gave me a quick smile. "I have some work to do. I'll come visit you again tonight. Fix the hair while I'm gone."  I let out a quick my smile. "So demanding." I laid down in my bed for a few minutes before I got up and started walking around. Where has Dalila been? I feel like I haven't seen her in ages! I started looking in all of the areas I know Dalila likes to stay at, until I eventually found myself in the garden. "Well look who it is?"

I stopped and turned around, before I noticed maybe about 10 girls standing behind me. I recognized one of the girls from around when I first got here. She had told me she was one of Darius' concubines. So I'm guessing all of these girls are his concubines as well? Why does he have so many? They all gave me a look of disgust. Then before I could even blink they all started hurtling insults at me at the same time. "You think you are so special?" "You are nothing but a whore!" "You rotten no good piece of trash!" "Darius isn't serious about you!" "A ugly little tar like you could never become queen!" "He's only in it for the sex, not long from now you'll be thrown out like the trash you are!" And those were only the insults I caught. The one I had seen before silenced them all. "What good is insulting her all at once? She probably has no clue what most of you are saying! Let me handle the vixen!"

She turned her icy cold glance to me. "Look tramp. Darius stopped adding concubines 4 years ago. Sure we see a new girl pop up every once and awhile but once he has his way with them, he quickly get's bored and then they are gone. So you won't be getting any kind of status." I remained quiet, as I calculated these quiet girls. The girl smiled. She seemed to think she was getting to me. She continued "I know what you're after! You're after the empty queen position. Hate to burst your bubble but that slot belongs to me. It isn't official yet but Darius intends to put me as his queen. Sure, a new girl always manages to come along and steal his attention from us, but he always comes back to me. I applaud you on how long you've lasted. I've never seen a fling last near as many months as you. So who knows, maybe you will luck out and be made a concubine." She got a sly smile. "Still! All you have going for you is you're great in bed."

I started laughing. Hysterically laughing, which left all of the 'girls' yes GIRLS here puzzled.           "I think you've made a mistake about me." Anger flashed the girl's face as she interrupted me. "There has been no mistake! We know exactly why you're here!" I gave her a grin. "No! You don't... I am here... Because Darius wants me here!" I saw there eyes pop out as I said his name. After all, nobody can just do that. I continued on. "And besides. You seem to have the oppression that I'm... 'great in bed'  I believe you put it? Well I mean I could be, but honestly, I wouldn't know how 'great in bed'  I am considering I am yet to have sex with anyone." The second those words left my lips, horror, filled all of these girl's faces. "What do you mean you haven't had sex? How else have you kept him interested this long!?!" I smiled. "Well why don't you ask him if you are so curious? It's his mind, not mine."

I gave the a smile. "I will tell you what though. You mentioned how I won't be the queen? Well... I wouldn't be so sure about that. Unlike you chickens who are afraid to even call Darius by his name, I am not so feeble minded. You are all just afraid that Darius likes me better than you and you have every reason to be. Darius already told me he intends to make me his wife. Let me guess... Ever sense I showed up in the picture Darius hasn't had sex with a single one of you?" All of them looked at the ground while a couple of them bit their lips nervously. Showing me I had been correct. I found myself smiling and walking away. "This isn't over! You haven't won anything!" One of them screeched back at me. I found myself smiling even more. And without even looking back I said. "Yes I have. And the first thing I will do as queen, is make sure he gets rid of all of you."
