---Safiya POV---

I was roaming the halls looking for an exit. I need to find Abayomi because here I am falling for another guy while being in a relationship with the other. I need to end it and quickly. He probably won't forgive me. What a terrible thing I am doing to him. It is selfish of me... Everything about this is selfish, but I can't go on deceiving both myself and him any longer. Dalila informed me of a secret passageway. I am currently looking for it. Darius isn't aware I have awaken yet. He still thinks I am unconscious in my room. So now is my only chance to get out quickly and inform Abayomi. I turned to the right and into the room Dalila had told me about. I went to the wall she had described and did as she had instructed and as suspected, part of the wall slid open. I quickly and quietly entered the passage way... Closing it softly behind me.

I kept crawling forward despite the fact I couldn't see anything. Eventually light started to appear towards the end of the passage and I found myself looking upon the town. Great... It worked. Hopefully Abayomi will be here. I started walking around taking in my surroundings. It's been a long while since I've been to town, so I want to enjoy it while I still can. I felt a small smile creep it's way on my face. Then I spotted a blaze of a familiar figure up ahead; with brown hair... Abayomi... I quickly started to chase after him. "Abayomi!" I shouted. When he didn't hear me I shouted. "Abayomi!" Even louder than before. He stopped and turned towards me, a smile growing on his face at the sight of me. "Neith!" He ran towards me embracing me in a hug. "How are you... You never showed up at our meeting spot." I laughed awkwardly. "Yes I am sorry about that... Something sorta happened."

He smiled warmly. 'Well I am glad to see you're okay." I smiled back. "Yeah... Anyway" I dropped my smile, my tone and face becoming more serious. "I'm not sure how to say this Abayomi... But... I..." I rose my eyes to his and spoke firmly. "I want to cancel our engagement." He seemed a bit taken aback at first. I heard him take a breath of relief. "Oh... Thank goodness!" I looked at him in bewilderment. "What?" I asked still in shock. He laughed. "I was afraid that would be really awkward... You see... While you disappeared, I met this girl... And well honestly I fell in love with her." He gave me his goofy looking grin. "Well that's great Abayomi! I am happy for you... The fact you have someone else makes this a lot easier on me..." He gave me a pitiful look. "But I do feel bad... Won't you be lonely Neith..." I laughed while scratching the top of my head.

"Oh don't worry about me, Abayomi, I also found someone else... It isn't as solid as your relationship seems to be, but I am working on it... Well I hope all of this means we can still remain friends at least... since there are no hard feelings?" He gave me a flabbergasted look. "Oh well of course Neith! I wouldn't expect anything less..." I gave him a smile; then quickly dropped it. "Abayomi... I need to be honest with you... I am so sorry... But Neith isn't my real name." He looked shocked. "Oh." I gave him a sad smile. "You see... Well... I think it is appropriate I reintroduce myself... Hello... My name is Safiya Zahra." I saw his eyes open a huge degree. "Zahra? You're a Zahra... Doesn't that mean you are related to the Pharaoh? Wait a minute... Safiya? Safiya? Where have I heard that name?" I smiled. "Oh yeah... One more thing... I am also infamously known as the rebel army leader." "WHAT?"

The shocked expression he had on didn't even compare to the others he had earlier in matters of surprisement. "You... The..." His eyes rose a fragment as if he pieced something together. "The man you mentioned earlier... Is he by any chance... The Pharaoh?" I gave him a smile. "Yeah... I'm sorry I never told you my real name, I just didn't want to drag you in to my life style... By the way, how did you guess the guy I mentioned was the Pharaoh...?" He started laughing. "Well for the first time ever the Pharaoh took a prisoner... And out of all people it could be it was the rebel leader... Which you just mention you were... Honestly I should have put it together myself." He nodded to himself as if having perfect understanding. He then put his hand on my shoulder. "Well... Good luck with that one Ne-Safiya... You'll need it." I crossed my arms at him. then felt a smile. "You underestimate me Abayomi." He smiled back. "I'm sure I have... Go and show that Pharaoh what you're made of."

"By the way... How did you get out of the palace?" I laughed back awkwardly. "It is a very long story... But I better get back before he notices I'm gone and throws a fit." He laughed. "Yeah well... Next time we meet... I'll introduce you to Accenath... She works in the palace as maid... So you may have seen her before." I felt a smile grow on my face. "ACCENATH! That's the girl you fell for! Oh my goodness! I know her! She is a friend of mine! She told me about you; but I had know clue it was you who she was talking about! That is so adorable!" I started muttering more to myself; then stopped noticing his look. I smiled awkwardly. "Well I am going to get going now Abayomi... Good luck with Accenath... If you don't treat her right I'll punch you in the face... Well bye." I said while walking away. He laughed and waved. Then started heading back to the secret passage way I got out through. Right before I got there I felt something shoved over my mouth and nose; and after struggling for awhile, found myself meeting with the darkness.
