--- Darius POV ---

"Where the heck is she?" I practically screamed. Dalila tensed up at my tone. "I don't know! You can keep screaming all you want, but it won't change that I don't know!" I felt anger building within me. "It has been 10 DAYS DALILA! 10 DAYS! You better freaking tell me or I swear I'll-" "You'll what?" She interrupted. A smug smile played on her lips. "Kill me?" I knew I was glaring at her and I made sure to glare harder as she challenged me. "Why don't you take a breather Darius... Safiya will come back when she feels like it. So just be patient and wait for the time she does." I felt my fingers digging in to my palms as I made a fist with my hands. "Are you stupid? She clearly ran away! A toddler could see that much!" She started laughing. "Don't be ignorant brother... Despite everything... I know Safiya better then you... Trust me... She will be back! Whether that is to take your head or not... I can not say!" With that said she smugly smiled once again and walked out of the room.

---Safiya POV---

I have been blind folded for who knows how long now... I hear doors opening and closing. As well as someone forcing food and water into my mouth certain times of the day. But I don't understand why I am here. How long I have been here. Or even who brought me here. I've been working on cutting the rope binding me for what I suspect days now. Soon after I got here I felt something sharp above my hands. So I have been abiding my time and slowly setting up to escape. Then I felt the ropes binding me loosen and fall. I did it! It finally completely cut. I brought my hands up and took off the blindfold. It was dark in the room. But I saw some light peaking out through a window up high. Judging by the setup of this room I would say I am in some sort of basement.  Although the window isn't big enough for me to crawl through. I can at least stick my head through it and call for help.

Looking around the room I noticed nobody was in here. So I immediately moved toward the wall and started climbing it. It is slippery. Very slippery. But I am no amateur. I took a very tight grip on the wall and started climbing. It was difficult but I managed to make it to the top after about 20 to 30 minutes. I peaked through the window waiting to see someone walk by; already feeling my fingers start to slip. Then I saw 2 familiar faces and immediately called out to them. "Abayomi! Accenath! HELP! I have been imprisoned in-" I didn't get to finish my words. My fingers slipped and I found myself hurtling towards the ground. I shifted my position getting ready to land on my feet. Once I hit the ground I bent my legs to add more support, but it wasn't enough and one of my legs snapped. I fell to the ground grabbing my leg in pain.

Suddenly the door to my cell shot open and a bunch of men came in with panicked expressions. All except one. The guy in the middle had a smile of amusement on his face. He clicked his tong at me while shaking his finger back and forth. "Rebel leader... Don't tell me you tried to escape by climbing that wall in hopes of getting out the window? It is impossible to climb that wall; all the way to the top without falling. Besides... The window is too small any way. There is no way you could escape through it... Seems the rebel leader isn't near as intelligent as people have given her credit for." I narrowed my eyes at him. "I would ask who you are and why I am here but I get the feeling you're only going to tell me that if you feel like it... Whether I ask or not... So I won't even bother." He smiled bigger. "I heard you were corky... Well none the less... I'm in a pleasant mood today... So I guess I could tell you."

He dropped his smile... His face becoming more serious. "In all honesty I brought you here to kill you." My face didn't waver. "Is that so?" He smiled. "No reaction at all... Wow... I can see now you are more then you appear to be... No wonder my brother couldn't break you." I made sure to give no reaction this time as well. "Brother?" I kept my face completely emotionless. "I see now... Your brother was Runiharu... You intend to use me as bait to lure the Pharaoh here and kill him... Then once you have succeeded in offing him you will then kill me as well. So he did have a family? I assumed lives would suffer because of that." His face no longer wore the smile from previous. It was no cold and serious. "He'll pay for what he did to my brother. I'll make him suffer before he dies. But you're going to pay to. It's your fault the Pharaoh killed him in the first place!"

My face held no emotion. "It's to bad... I never wished to hurt anyone. But I am afraid I can't- No- I won't just sit here and let you end my life. It is to bad you picked me as your hostage... Because I'm afraid I've never been good at playing the victim." A smile was now firmly on my face. Confusion filled his features. I grabbed one of the many sticks on the ground and chucked it at the roof... I had spotted a bit of a weak point in the roof earlier; when I was climbing that wall. The stick collided with it's target and pieces of the roof began to fall bit by bit. Before long everyone in the room was screaming and running out. While Runihura's brother... Well he just looked upset. I used the distraction to my advantage and crawled rapidly fast in between the panicking folks. Blending myself in with the crowd. Before long I was out in the halls. Then I saw 2 faces I was more then happy to see. Abayomi and Accenath.
