Today was definitely not my day. Today was a bad day. First my alarm clock didn't go off at the right time, waking me up half an hour later and as if that wasn't enough, I had to pick a new outfit for work because mysteriously jelly stained my shirt. Plus, the fridge was empty so I had no breakfast.

Whenever I have a bad day it usually leads to a bad week or even month. I really hope it's just a bad week but who am I kidding with my luck it may be a bad month.

I anxiously kept tapping my fingernail on the window of the taxi I was in. I could tell it was getting on the taxi driver's nerves but I just couldn't care.

The car came to a stop and I was just about to get out and pay the guy when he spoke bringing me out of my trans. "We're not there yet" his gruff voice said "What do you mean we're not there yet?" I asked, in a voice that sounded way too scratchy to be mine "I mean there is traffic up ahead" he said, after failing to hide his slightly squeezed face caused by my shriek.

"Well I don't care, I am leaving" I said, tossing the money to him as I got out of the car.

I grumbled all sorts of insults at whatever caused the traffic that was going to make me late to work as I pushed my way through the many pedestrians.

I held up a hand to block out the smell of smoke which was coming from up ahead the street. I pushed harder than before through the people, ignoring the string of insults that were thrown at me, as I so desperately wanted to know what was going on up there.

Coming to an abrupt halt, I stared in wonder, amazement and shock at the scene in front of me.

Yeah, the burning building may have been the cause but no it was the three flying dudes who were putting out the fire.

The one wearing blue was getting people out of the building, the one wearing green was holding up the building while the one wearing grey was putting out the fire.

How? you may ask. By blowing out ice from his mouth (duh!)

I quickly brought out my camera and began taking pictures of them while formulating a story that would go great with it.

Finally the fire was out and it looked like they had gotten everyone out of the building in time. Police cars were present and so was an ambulance with a couple of paramedics.

I had somehow gotten to the front of the crowd and was still taking pictures when I took one of them looking at me. Putting my camera down. I looked at them as they looked back at me. Wanting to talk to them, I began going forward, only to have a cop stop me saying I wasn't allowed up there.

I only rolled my eyes at that and saw the green dude smile at me before they all flew away.

I took a final pic of that and checked my wristwatch to know the time. You could say I nearly passed out. I was ten minutes late for work and I would probably get there ten whole minutes later.

I began going back, so I could catch a cab and go when I was suddenly shoved into an old lady who hit me with her heavy bag and had me backing away from her in a form of apology when the fates decided they hated me and made me bump into a too tall guy, who so happened to be holding a box full of fish oil, which happened to spill on me from head to toe.

Ladies and gentlemen that was how I got to work thirty minutes late, while smelling like fish oil.

"Well at least I have a good story" I thought with a smile as I walked into the building with my head held high.
