“Ah… I love you.”

“Let’s go?” he said while putting his arms on my shoulder. We started walking to… I don’t know where.

“San?”

“Sa room mo. I don’t want you to be late because you’re with me.” We’re not classmates. He belonged to section 4-A with Thea while Lance and I are from section 4-B.

We passed through the garden with his arm still resting on my shoulder. I can feel how those bitches look at Kevin. Kevin’s a cute guy. No wonder why many girls will write him as their crush and yes, Lance also.

As we walk, I’m looking at those girls’ eyes trying to show them how Kevin rests his arm on my shoulder. Don’t they know what that means? I found myself smiling. Why? At least I have a boyfriend to show off and this time, it’s not a best friend.

I smiled even if we ran through Thea and Lance sitting together at a bench. I found them looking at us as we walk.

We walked a lot near the comfort room and I just finished digesting how I saw Thea and Lance sitting together and Thea, leaning to Lance’s chest. Then, my smile turned to something I didn’t expected. Suddenly, my smile turn to a tear.

A tear left my eye. They said that if a tear first rolled from your left eye, its sadness. And I think I know what does that mean. I knew it. Good thing there are only few persons in the corridor and Kevin didn’t notice my tear.

“Ah, Kev, wait lang ah. I just need to go to the comfort room.” I walked to the comfort room while he’s walking to the bleachers. We agreed that he’ll wait me there.

I entered the comfort room and locked the door. I checked if the cubicles were occupied and thank God they’re not. I have a time to talk to myself. I went to the mirror and started crying. Damn! I cried for a minute then I stopped. That’s enough. I washed my face and talked to myself.

“Ano ba Honey! Tigilan mo nga yang drama mo! Pano na lang kung nakita ni Kevin yun o may ibang nakakita nun? Masyado kang affected. Nagseselos ka, girlfriend ka ba? Idiot!”

I fixed my face. I put powder and balm on my lips. Kevin’s waiting. I whispered. I unlocked the door and went out. I saw Thea approaching the comfort room by the corridor. Where is Lance?

She smiled at me while I faked a smile for her.

I passed by her and went straightly to Kevin. He walked me to my room.

I’m not yet late but Lance is already there which is so unusual since he’s always late. Now, he’s not. I sat beside him. He’s my seatmate. I turned to the door and saw Kevin there, smiling. I smiled then waved him goodbye. He nodded then he walked to his room which is only next to ours.

“Hindi mo hinatid si Thea? I saw her sa cr kanina ah.” He fixed his eyes on the board and our adviser’s approaching.

“No, she said she can handle herself. Matagal na naman yun dito. Hindi na siguro sya maliligaw.”

We’re not the usual best friends now. He’s getting on my nerves. He answered me that way. Damn! He’s not like that before.

~ LOVE’s P.O.V.

“Anong klaseng boyfriend ka ba? Hindi mo man lang hinatid si Thea sa room nya. How could you make sure she’s okay?” damn it! Thea’s room is just next to ours. Besides, Thea is not really my girlfriend.  I don’t need to obligate myself to walk her back and forth her room.

I didn’t answer Honey. I’m not in the mood to argue with her. I remained silent and tried to listen to our math teacher but I really can’t. I can’t help thinking of Honey with Kevin just passing by me and Thea. It hurts that he’s already Kevin’s.

“Yes Ms. Enrique? Would you like to say anything? Wait… are you okay?” I looked at her and found hher standing with her palm resting on her forehead.

“I’m sorry for the interruption ma’am but I really can’t hold my headache anymore? Can I go to the clinic?”

She was allowed and went out. Someone volunteered to walk her to the clinic but she refused. I was left there to think of the stupid thing’s and words I’ve said.

I raised my hand and asked to go to the comfort room but the annoying part there is, this teacher seems like she doesn’t allow me to. I insisted that I can’t hold it anymore and in the end, she allowed me.
