That Feeling :/

Even if maiksi lang to, I dedicate this to myself kasi birthday ko bukas. Mahal na mahal ko kasi sarili ko. Sino pa bang higit na magmamahal sayo kundi ikaw diba?

I ran outside to find Honey already walking alone in the corridor of the building going to the clinic. She already passed through the room of section 4-A. I looked inside their room and saw Thea looking at me and Kevin going out. There he goes again.

I paused for a while and looked at them. Kevin is catching up for Honey. Maybe he really love her and he deserves her more than I do. There’s pain in my chest when I saw Honey hug Kevin.

I ran passed them heading straight to the comfort room to pee even if I’m really not supposed to. After that, I went to the room and Honey is not there. Maybe she is really sick.

~ HATE’s P.O.V.

I was sick so I stayed for like two hours in the clinic and I’m feeling bored with the atmosphere of silence. I slept, I texted, I even had a review but I’m really bored.

I attended the fourth class and everything seems not to be normal because Lance is not talking to me or even asking if how am I? why should he care, right? I was annoyed. I didn’t even listen to our lessons until the last class ended.

As everyone’s starting to fix their things and getting ready to go out, I silently fixed my things still waiting for Lance to talk but he didn’t. instead, someone shouted.

“Honey!” I looked outside and saw Kevin looking at me wearing a serious face. I smiled and walked towards him.

We walked through the corridor heading to the first gate. I noticed that even if Kevin is holding my hand, some girls still stare at him. I’m annoyed. My head whispered: “Hello! Girlfriend here!” but still, I don’t mind them and continued walking with Kevin until we were at the street to my house.

“Kevin, okay na. dito na lang ako.” We were only two houses away from ours and I can see my friends looking at us as if asking me who is he because this is the first time they saw me with another guy. I used to walk with Lance before but not anymore now. I even looked at my friends smiling at me.

“Oh sige. Uwi ka na ah. Baka mapahamak ka pa. susunduin kita bukas.”

He looks so serious. I haven’t seen him smile this afternoon. I am wondering why but he already left. I was just about to ask him. He’s so unusual this afternoon. Why? He’s not like that this morning when I answered him yes.

Oh well, I went straight to our house and did everything I have to. I haven’t got any text from him or from Lance. But, why am I expecting texts from Lance? Is he obliged to text me? No he’s not right? Besides, I think he’s mad at me.

After classes, I asked Thea to go to 711. I used to go there alone but when I saw her and I told her about my secret regarding my feelings to Honey, I found a friend to tell my problems about her.

“I’m sorry, hindi kita matulungan dyan. You know, we’re not close. I’m close with Lance since he’s my cousin’s ex boyfriend. I think naman Honey is in good hands. He loved my cousin before. Kung hindi lang siguro sila nag-away, they won’t have that break-up.”

“Sana nga sumaya si Honey. I’m willing to give up and get hurt for her.” I said even if it hurts me.

We ate together. I bought her snacks. Kahit anong gawin ko, I can’t fall in love with Thea. She’s just a friend for me.
