Chapter 21 - Lost girl

Peter Pan's POV

After I had persuaded Katherine I teleported back to camp just in time to see the boys come back with Iris, the girl we agreed was the most guilty. Sierra didn't stop Iris, that is bad too, but her punishment is harsh enough.

Sierra has to stay in the forest for three days, or rather survive without our help. Just to make it worse there is some stress for her, because she doesn't know, whether we caught Iris or is looking for her. That must be punishment enough.

"Put her in one of the cages" I said, two of them grabbed grabbed one arm each and almost dragged her to the cages to lock her up.  

I called Felix over, after I had dismissed all of the boys, and told him to make sure that everything was ready for a bonfire tonight.

"Why are we having a bonfire?" Felix asked. I answered,

"Because I need to announce Katherine as a lost girl, since she has completed the initiation" After I said this, I left him. I had to find Katherine and tell her that she is going to be a lost girl.

Katherine's POV

After running from Pan, I had found some clothes in pan's... or should I now say our tent. Now I was just wandering around the forest, thinking about what happened with Pan. 

"I like that face of yours when you think," said Pan suddenly from behind me. From what he said my cheeks reddened a bit, which I of course didn't want him to see. I hadn't heard him approach, so he probably transported himself here. When I could feel, my red cheeks weren't red anymore I turned around to face him, and said,

"Thanks, I guess." 

"I have something to tell you" Pan then looked very serious. "You told me to ask Iris and Sierra about when you escaped, well I did and it turns out that was five days ago. So you have actually passed, and tonight I am going to announce you as the first lost girl ever." I was happy. This meant I was officially going to be on their side and the boys would from now on view me as one of theirs, instead of a stranger.

I broke into a smile and said "Great, anything else I need to know?"

"Not other than; make sure to be there when the fire starts, which will start when the sun has gone down entirely." He smirked and left shortly after. He was a very practical kind of guy, not wasting any time...

Don't fuss over the fact that you think of him all the time, so do I. I want a mate so bad, and if you don't do anything  soon, I will.

Calm down and don't threaten me. I just don't know what to do...

KISS HIM! If he doesn't kiss back I will make him...

NO! No, no, no. No violence... In this case. I just, I really like him, but what if he doesn't like me?

As I said; make him. Talk to him more, be near him, find an activity that only the two of you can do together. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.

Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna do my best. The sun is almost down, we better get going.

All the boys were already jumping and dancing around the bonfire when I arrived. Pan was of course playing the flute, while Felix just sat and watched. I somehow managed to get into the middle where both Pan and Felix were, and I sat down next to Felix. 

When Pan was finished with his song, he stood up. 

"This celebration is not one of our usual ones. Tonight we welcome a new member of our family. Tonight we welcome our new sister, Katherine." the boys cheered at what Pan said.

"Katherine will be treated just like anyone else, because just like the rest of you she completed the initiation. This next song will be in the honor of our new family member, and to celebrate properly i highly recommend everyone(at this he looked at Felix and me) to dance this time" Again the boys cheered and laughed at Felix's reaction. He stood up and held his hand out for me to take. I looked around everyone seemed to wait for me to take his hand, as if this was the final test to be at lost one.

So I took his hand, everyone cheered and Pan started playing. The music flowed just as beautifully and enchanting as the first time I had heard it. I danced and jumped eagerly between the boys. I danced with them and around them, some gave me a twirl and others just happily danced with me. Just as I had danced with the last boy the song ended and it was already late, the youngest boys had to go to bed. 

I wasn't tired yet, so I just sat down by the bonfire and enjoyed the warmth it provided. I noticed Pan sat beside me, I hadn't even seen him coming. Suddenly he stood and offered his hand,

"Walk with me?" he asked. I took his hand and he started leading me through the forest. It didn't seem like he had a special place in mind, so we just walked. We arrived in a clearing when I suddenly asked him,

"will you teach me to fight with a sword?" It wasn't even my own words, so everything made sense when my predator said;

You're welcome, with a cheeky voice. We stopped and turned to one another.

"Well since you are so bad at it, I may have to" he said with a cocky smile. "At least I now know why you were so afraid of the sword. So we will begin with swords without silver on them". He said.

"Catch!" He said, out of no where threw a sword at me. I of course didn't catch it, I avoided it. When i picked it up he sighed. 

"You were supposed to catch it" he said. "Okay, start taking fighting stance." I held my body like he did, this was an entirely new world to me, the weapon was unnecessary for my fighting style, yet I knew I would need it as a lost girl. Pan continued to teach me how to fight with swords. 

"Let's take a fight" He said.

"No, you are way better than I am" I answered.

"You will only learn by practice and trying the real deal, I'll even go easy on you if you want it, it is after all your first fight where you have the slightest idea what you are doing. " He said with a smirk. "Take fighting stance."

I did and we started fighting, I could easily feel how easy he was going on me, but we kept going, a little offence and a little defense. 

"Let's make it a bit harder, shall we." and he did, quickly might I add. This was to fast, with the sword I always had to think what to do next, so I couldn't just act on the instinct. Suddenly he hit my sword so hard it fell out of my hand, and next thing I knew, I was pinned against a tree with a sword at my throat.
