Peter Pan's POV

"Yeah and you are on their territory and possibly 'stealing their food'. If they got the chance, they'd drown you, you wouldn't stand a chance. The only one who actually possess a chance against a mermaid in water is another mermaid in water. So don't, I don't want to loose one of my best fighters." I said it very casual but her cheeks went red anyway. Even with red cheeks she was beautiful...

Suddenly her head jerked up like she heard something. I curiously looked at her, but of course I didn't show it.

'Knack' it sounded like someone stepped on a twig.

Peter Pan' POV

I looked up to find Slightly, slowly coming out of the bushes.

"Everything is ready." Then he turned around and left. I turned to Katerine,

"Shall we go then?" I didn't want to be rude towards her, that would just ruin my chances... What the hell am I thinking. I can't have a girl like that. I think it would be better if she just left... or died... but I need a reason.

Unknown's POV

I knew we were close to their camp site, cause we could hear their whoops and cheers, and we could see the smoke from the bonfire, over the tree tops.

We were planning to ruin their party, destroy their happiness while at it's highest. Just for exstra fun. 

I almost couldn't wait for us to get her, she would end our collection perfectly. We indeed did save the best for the last. After years and years of looking and searching, for a creature like her, a Warrior. She appeared right in front of us, almost begging for us to claim her. If we claim her, she will stay alive, and we can even keep her as long as we desire.

She will be ours, and only ours. It will be like a curse, a curse she can't escape.

Katherine's POV

We came to Camp, and all the boys cheered, because Pan came. I would have been happy too if he came towards me. But they probably didn't cheer just because he came, maybe it was more because then the party could start.

I was just as excited as the lost boys. My very first party here... actually my first real party ever. Well living on the run makes you miss out on some things.

"Play a song" Some lost boy pleaded. Pan sighed, all the boys cheered again. he must be real good with whatever instrument he plays. He started fumbling with his pocket and got...

"A pan flute, that's what you play?" I said it without even thinking.

Then Felix came up behind me,

"Never underestimate the flute" He whispered at me.

Pan smirked and started playing. It sounded heavenly calm, and yet I suddenly got an urge to dance. I was speechless.

"It's beautiful" It was Felix.

I felt so happy. A boy grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the bonfire, only to start dancing around it. I didn't know him but I didn't really care I just danced.

Some of the boys spun me around, some held my hand, I had never had that much fun in so short time. This was probably the first time I actually felt like a part of this, like a lost girl.

Somehow Pan had managed to get in the middle of the circle together with Felix and the bonfire. I noticed he wasn't playing, yet there was still music. 

I half walked, half danced into the middle, only to take Pan's hand, pull lightly while half shouting, because of the noise the boys made.

"Come on, come dance with me." He actually followed, that was quite surprising, but I was too happy to really notice. We started dancing, he looked happy. I think that was the first time he genuinely looked happy, yeah I've seen him smile, but it's not the same as really looking happy.

Unfortunately, all this happiness also made me forget to be careful, to always be listening and ready if something should happen.

And again, unfortunately, something did happen.

"Aww, are we interrupting anything, I'm so sorr... Wait, no, I'm not sorry at all." I looked to where the voice came from. There stood to men, both big buff guys. They seemed familiar, but I couldn't tell exactly who they were.

"We've come here, to take something back of ours. It's very precious to us. So I would appreciate if you would just give it to us without any problems." He said.

"And what might this precious thing be" Pan answered.

"Well she is a very special species, very rare. And she is actually standing right beside you."

Pan turned his head, looking at me. He looked quite angry, so I made a run for it. for the first time since I came here I used all of my speed and ran as fast as I could. I just didn't get that far, before one of the men attacked me. Vampire. I could smell it. 

He had a tight grip around me. I just used some of all my fighting skills. I pulled back my elbow, and smashed it into his stomach.

Since there was two of them and one of me, I had no chance of winning, since at least one of them is a vampire. So after he let go, and buckled over in pain. I gave running a second chance.

5 meters(16,4 feet) away from the trees, I heard the shot, not seconds later I felt it.

This wasn't a normal bullet, cause it really hurt. I got shot in the right hip. Seconds later I started limping, suddenly it felt like my muscles didn't work anymore, so I fell to the ground.

1 meter(3,2 feet) away from the trees, 1 meter away from my escape.

I was laying, face to the side, stomach down, I couldn't move. Both of the men came over, and stared at me. Now I could smell it, one vampire and one werewolf.
