Chapter 12 - Cage

Peter Pan's POV

Nibs came back rather quickly, after I sent him and Slightly in to my tent to remove the bullet. He looked shaken up and ... scared? That was all I needed to see. I hurried back to the tent.

And I stopped. I just stood there shocked, completely frozen. I wasn't ready to see this. 

"She claims that she can't feel it," said Slightly. And I just got even more worried. 

There was blood, and a lot of it, all over the cloak that I lent from Felix, since I never wear one myself. Blood was streaming out from her hip. She looked tired but not like she was in a massive blood loss.

Then I ran to her and started holding the cloak to her wound so the blood would cease.

"What is wrong?" She asked. I just stared at her, she really couldn't feel it.

"What is wrong, is that you are bleeding heavily, and a normal human would probably be dead because of blood loss." I answered.  Luckily she slowly stopped bleeding, I tried to move the cloak away to look at the wound, but she just started bleeding again. But then I got an idea.

"As long as you are wearing the collar, you can't heal with inhumane speed right?" I asked. She nodded slowly while adding.

"Yeah, but because it was silver it will heal slower that normal, still faster than humans though. But there is also a huge risk, by taking it off I will be able to change again. So if my predator feel just slightly threatened, she will change and probably go on killing spree."

"Oh... What if we put you in a cage" I answered with new found energy because of the new idea.

"Well... it needs to be made out of silver then" She answered while hesitating a little. "And I want to be able to stand up and actually walk around in it" She demanded.

I looked at her with a look that said 'everything is going to be alright'.

"Slightly, hold this" I said, I then stood up and walked out of the tent. I walked in the opposite direction of the other cages. I knew there was a clearing not long away from camp here.

When I walked into the clearing, I was only 20 meter (65 Feet) away from camp. I used my magic and made a cage(The one in the picture, imagine that beside the door there is a kind of a drawer that can open in both ways, so that they can put food in it ,and she can open it and take the food.)

I thought that looked good enough for her. But when I thought again I gave her a roof, if I didn't she would be cold when it rained. But then I looked at it again and I gave her a bed, not the big luxury kind but a decent bed.

I teleported myself back into my tent, where Slightly was still holding the cloak and Katherine was still conscience, I got over, told Slightly to leave and lifted Katherine up, Bridal style. I carried her all the way to the cage. Opened it and carried her to the bed. I made a set of clothes appear, and put it on the end of the bed.

I made sure that the door was locked before I took the collar of off her. Before she looked so tired, but as soon as the collar was open, her eyes were wide open and they were yellow. I teleported out of the cage, just to be sure. And then I again made sure that the cage was locked.

She quickly jumped out of her bed, she looked ready to fight. She was naked, cause the only thing that covered her before was the cloak, but jumping out of the bed made it fall. For some reason I didn't want to look at her body, because I knew, the real her wouldn't want me to.

Then she realized that she was in a cage, so she frantically started looking for a way to get out.

The only good thing was that it already stopped bleeding. Then she realized that I was still here. She stared at me from the inside of the cage, then suddenly she stood as close as she could get to me, while holding  some of the bars.

Then suddenly I could hear a weird sound from her direction. It sounded like when we cook bacon. That small popping sound. But then the same second I realized what it was she let go of the bars, and the sound stopped. She had burning marks on the inside of her hands. The sound was because she touched the silver.

She looked at her hands and I could see that her eyes slowly changed back.

She was still looking at her hands when she said.

"I didn't want you to see me like that," she paused, and then looked at me,"I didn't want anybody to see me like that" She walked backwards into the cage, and sat down on her bed.

"I'm a monster" she muttered.

And just then I left.

Katherine's POV

Hours, days maybe even weeks had gone by, I was bored out of my mind. Some of the boys came by sometimes to give me some food. Night or day it was difficult to tell, because usually Neverland was just a dark place, and I am still hungry. Every time an animal walks by, my predator takes over, after about fifteen minuets she calms down. Then she gives me back the control.

I heard some ruffling in some bushes, and my predator took over again.

(The text that's been written in cursive is the predators mind, thoughts or when the predator has the 'point of view')

Felix came out, if he is stupid enough to come in here i'm gonna eat him. I am really that hungry.

"Wow, when Pan said that you don't look so well, he really meant it." Felix said.

"Do you have any food?" I asked. Felix knelt down to the drawer thing, and put a plate full of food in it. As soon as the drawer was closed I opened it on my side and ate the food, I've never eaten so fast.

When all the food was gone I could feel myself giving Katherine the control again.

I sat on the ground with the plate in my hands. I silently put it back in the drawer. I could feel Felix' stare on my back.

"How is your wound, has it healed yet?" he asked hopefully

"No, but it is on it's way" And then he left, and I was alone again.

A/N 

I am not gonna be able to update next week due to a trip with the scouts. I am a scout ;-)

So I decided i wanted to update early this week :-D
