~ Juli's P.O.V. ~
As Allie, El, and I walled down the corridor back to the stage, it was silent. I knew El didn't want to say anything about the song. She knew that Allie would throw a fit.
Being around Allie was like being around one of those trained, vicious dogs. If you throw a stone, it's going to attack.
As we got back to the dressing rooms, Liam came over and whispered in my ear, "You're Juli?" I nodded. "He's looking for you. He went over that way." He pointed in the direction behind me.
I smiled. I mouthed the words "thank you" and turned in that direction. El started following me, and I put my hand up, signaling her to stop.
"I need to do this on my own." I sternly told her.
She nodded. "I understand. Do whatever you need to do." She winked and turned around to go find Louis.
I continued walking, not seeing a single person. It was almost like a scene out of a movie. No one was there, and it felt pretty spooky.
About twenty feet to the side of me, I heard a pound on the wall. I looked over, and I saw a head of blonde hair leaning up against the wall.
"Niall?" I said, slowly walking towards him. He turned around quickly, showing his beautiful blue orbs.
"Juli..." He smiled. But it was quickly replaced with a frown. "You've met Allie, I assume?"
"Yeah," I said. "She's a nice girl, I like her. I'm glad you found somebody." I plastered a fake smile on my face. That was
Niall chuckled a little bit. "I have to stay with her, Jules. Management said it's best for the band's publicity if we stay together. The fans might blow if we break up."
"Listen, Niall," I said, walking closer to him. "I'm, sorry about what happened with us. What I did wasn't fair, and I didn't even call to say I was sorry." I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
What he did next, I completely didn't expect. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and buried his face in my neck. "I'm sorry about how I reacted. You love Carter, and I can respect that."
I pulled away from the hug. "But I dont love Carter." I took a deep breath, preparing myself for what I was about to say next. "I love you, Niall."
A small smile creeped on his face. "R-really?" He said. I started smiling like an idiot and nodded my head. "I love you too. I always have, ever since I first saw you."
"But we can't be together." I stated, my smile fading.
Niall looked at the ground. "It's because of Carter, isn't it? You're still with him." He frowned.
"Niall, I broke our engagement. He-" i paused, trying to fight back the tears. "He cheated on me, and I've been living with El ever since."
His ocean blue eyes began getting teary and he pulled me into a hug. "You shouldn't be treated like that. He doesn't realize what an amazing, beautiful girl you are. You deserve so much better." He mumbled into my neck.
~ Niall P.O.V. ~
"He cheated on me, and I've been living with El ever since." Her words broke my heart. How come she didn't call me? I could have been there for her the whole time! I love her!
I grabbed her by the waist and buried my face in her neck. I told her that she deserves so much better, and what a beautiful girl she is.
But once again, she pulled out of the hug. "Niall, I do love you. But we can't be together. The fans will give you so much hate if you date me."
I cupped her face in my hands. "Juli, they will love you as much as I do, I promise."
"It's not that." She stated. "Niall, I'm pregnant, with Carter's baby." She began crying as she placed her hand on her abdomen.
I wasn't exactly sure what to say. So I didn't say anything. I just engulfed her in a hug. I never wanted to let go.
"That's okay, I'll be here for you. The whole way." I pulled out of our embrace. "How far along are you?" I whispered.
"I'm not sure." She put her head down. "I scheduled an appointment for next week to find out. I think that I want to go by myself." She shook her head. "I don't even know if I want him in the baby's life."
"Can I go with you?" She looked up at me. "To the appointment?"
She smiled and nodded. "I'd love that."
