~Niall's P.O.V. ~
I realized about ten minutes after El and Louis left that their story didn't add up. Instead of joining the lads out in the back, I run up to my room.
I slouch over in my bed and try to think what they were possibly thinking leaving me here. They know how much I kick myself for treating Juli like I did. Even if I had forgotten her, no one should ever treat Juli like that. She has never done anything to deserve it.
After what seems like forever of sitting on my bed, I decide to pick up my phone and call the airport.
A woman answers on the second ring. "Hello, welcome to the British Airways hotline. How may I assist you?"
"Um, I'm Niall Horan, from One Direction." I say, trying to give myself an advantage. "One of my bandmates and his girlfriend flew to America and I would like to confirm their destination."
"I'm sorry, Sir, I'm afraid I can't disclose that information."
I scowl into the phone. "Can you atleast tell me the flights within the last two hours?" I only ask because at this time during the night, there can only be a couple outgoing flights.
"Since ten? There have been flights to Dublin, Milan, France, Chicago, Sydney..." She continues but I knew exactly where they went.
Chicago. I remember when I first started hanging around with Juli, she told me that her Grandma moved there after Juli moved in with Carter. She even told me the neighborhood that her Grandma lives in.
"When is the next flight to Chicago?" I bark into the phone.
"Four hours from now." She responds.
"Can you reserve me a ticket?" I ask as I walk to my closet and grab a suitcase.
"Sure. Would you like private security?" The operator asks.
I didn't even consider it. "Sure. That'll be fine." If a fan spots me, there could be a huge delay.
"Alright, Mr. Horan. We'll be expecting you in an hour or so."
"Okay, thank you." I say and hang up.
I can't believe they thought they could fool me. I would have eventually figured it out. Before I start piling my stuff into a suitcase, I take my phone out and send Louis a text. He won't get it until he gets off the plane, but I want them to know I'm right behind them.
By the time I have to leave for the airport, my bags are packed full. I drag my belongings downstairs and see Harry sitting in the kitchen.
"Where are you headed?" He asks and stands up from the stool he was resting on.
"Well," I begin. "Long story short, El and Louis lied to me about going to see Juli so I'm going after them."
His face twists in confusion. "You mean they flew to America without telling anyone."
I nod. "Juli probably didn't want me to know."
As I say the words for the first time, I come to a realization that she probably doesn't want me there. If she did, I would have known. I can't help but feel a little hurt. Here I am, having these strong feelings for her and Juli probably doesn't care about me anymore. I know we had something at one point, but I threw it away.
"I have to get Juli back. I know that I hurt her but she means so much to me. I don't want to lose her." I mumble.
Harry steps closer. "You know, you're pretty wimpy."
I look up at him. "What?" I ask, suddenly defensive.
"You want to be with Juli, right?" He asks.
