~ Niall's P.O.V. ~
Why is it so dark? Where am I?
In the distance, I could a hear someone yelling, but it was very faint. "Get me 45 cc's now!"
What was that man talking about? I tried to open my eyes to ask, but my eyelids felt like they were be weighed down by concrete blocks.
Suddenly, a small light appeared. Almost like a shooting star, coming straight at me.
It was so beautiful. It shone all the colors of the rainbow, sparkling as it got closer.
In my head, I started walking towards the light. I was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty. The yelling sounds disappeared. I took my hand and reached into the illuminated brilliance.
But something stopped me. No matter how hard I pushed, my arm was held back.
All of a sudden, a deep voice bellowed in my mind.
"Not yet." It said. "It's not time."
~ Juli's P.O.V. ~
I just sat there. Each breath I took weighed down on my lungs. El sat beside me, her arm wrapped around my shoulder.
"Juli, he's going to be okay." She said calmly.
I looked up at her, tears looming in my eyes. "What if he isn't? How long was he in that car before we called the paramedics?" I said, raising my voice. "He could die." I choked out.
I buried my face in my hands and I let the tears fall.
I felt El's arm tense up beside me. I slowly raised my head and lookes straight forward. The doctor was walking towards the lads and me in the waiting room.
His scrubs were covered by a large green apron, and I couldn't help but wonder if Niall's blood was underneath.
He sighed and clasped his hands together. "Mr. Horan's friends?" He asked hesitantly.
"Yes." Louis said. "How is he?"
"He's going to be okay." The doctor smiled. "There is only one negative thing about this."
I edged towards the end of my chair. "What's that?" I asked.
"When the car flipped, he hit his head off he dash board. We can't determine it until he's awake, but there may be some memory loss."
"Do you know how much he will remember?" Harry asked.
The doctor shrugged. "It's hard to say. Memory loss can be different for everyone. He might not have even forgotten anything."
I looked down at the floor. He only met me a few months ago. What if he didn't remember me?
"Can I see him?" I asked.
"You all can go see him, but one at a time." The doctor said.
"I think Juli should go first." Liam said.
I smiled. "Thanks." I stood up and followed the doctor down numerous corridors.
Finally, we reached a large white door. He turned to face me. "He might not be what you expect. He's not awake, so don't bother him too much."
I nodded. "I won't."
I pushed open the door and walked slowly into the room. Pushing back the curtain, I gasped at what I saw.
Niall's face was covered in cuts and bruises and his head was wrapped in a white bandage. His left leg had a cast that started at his hip, and ended at his ankle. Both of his eyes were puffy and blue.
