~ Juli's P.O.V. ~

I need to get out of here. This place has nothing to offer for me.

Maybe I just need to start over.

I didn't even wait for El to come back outside, since she was the one who brought me here. I ripped my phone out of my back pocket and called a cab to bring me back.

I waited outside on the bench, not able to control my tears. The cold January air whipped through my hair. I hoped that no one came outside to see me in this condition. My heart felt like it was broken beyond compare.

Finally, I saw a small, yellow car come around the corner and I tried to wipe off the tears stains on my cheeks.

The driver pulled up beside me and rolled down his window. "Juli Coachman?" he asked.

I nodded andgave a small smile. " Yeah that's me." I jumped in the back of the cab and slammed the door shut. "Just start driving to the McKinley woods and I'll tell you where to go from there."

"Are you sure you don't have a specific address?" he asked, turning around to look me in the eyes.

"Yes. Just start driving, I'll show you there." I shook him off. He reluctantly turned back to his steering wheel and turned the key in the ignition.

As we started the drive back into the country, I became more and more restless to get back to the house. I know that Niall lost his memory; I was beginning to accept that. But the way he talked to me in that hospital room, just scared me. And the way he threatened me to get out of his life? It didn't seem like something he would do at all, with or without his memory.

"Beautiful day, isn't it?" the cab driever snapped me out of my thoughts. The quiet of the drive was extremely awkward, and he was just trying to escape it.

Looking outside, it really wasn't that beautiful at all. The sky was cluttered with dark gray clouds, threatening to drop snow any second now. But I didn't express any of my thoughts. "Um, yeah, I guess."

He nodded and there was another moment of pure silence. "So are you from arond here?"

"London." I answered, beginning to feel a little annoyed.

"I figured. A pretty girl with your sense of style definatley isn't from the middle of the woods. Seriously, this place does not seem like the ideal living quarters for a woman like you." He looked around at the trees surrounding the car.

Is he trying to flirt with me?

"Uh, thanks, I guess." I tried ending the conversation by placing my headphones in my ears.

But sure enough, he had something else to say. "So are you still with the father? Of the baby?" He asked while looking in the rearview mirror at my bump.

I shot up in my seat, clearly offended. "That isn't any of you business. So I suggest that you shut up until we get back to my place." I crossed my arms over my chest and slumped back down in my seat. "Turn left here and turn into the first driveway you find."

I think I had got my message across, because he didn't let out a peep for the rest of the ride.

When we finally reached the drive, he stopped in front of the house and turned back to look at me. I sighed. "How much?" I asked, pulling my wallet out of my handbag.

"No charge." He said.

"Really?"

"Yeah, it was a pleasure driving you today." He said, winking at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Alright, sure. Goodbye." I said one last time before slamming the door.

With me being pregnant, I don't exercise that much anymore. But in this case, I practically sprinted up to the door. I didn't even bother to look back.
