I started thinking of places that Juli could be. Her parents are dead, her siblings live all around the world, and her grandma lives all the way in America. I knew that she wouldn't move that far since she was still in college.

There was only one more option. She had to be with her friend, Eleanor.

"She doesn't live that far away from here." I said to myself. Trying to remember exactly where she lived, I got in my truck. I've been searching for Juli ever since she left. She's not getting away from me that easily.

I got off the road and drove into her neighborhood.

"Juli, you better be here." I muttered through clenched teeth. My eyes scanned the condos along the street. When I got to her address, I pulled into her driveway.

I stepped out of my seat and slammed the car door. Practically running up the steps, I got to the front door.

"Juli, you better open this god damn door." I pounded my fist into the wooden frame. No one answered it.

"What ARE you doing?" A voice behind me asked. I turned around to see a man with fire orange hair, staring at me in his pajamas.

"My, uh, my girlfriend lives here." I said, stretching the truth a tiny bit. I was still with Courtney, but something inside of me wasn't letting go of Juli.

"Sir, the girls that live here are out. Can you come back later?" He crossed his arms.

I put my head down and muttered, "I'm not leaving."

He sarcastically cupped his ear with his hand. "Oh I'm sorry, what was that? I can'y hear mumbling!" He started getting arrogant.

"I said," looking up at him, "I'M NOT LEAVING!" I walked straight up to him and punched him in the side of the jaw. He fell on the walkway unconscious and I could see the blood begin to trickle over his chin onto the sidewalk.

I snapped my gead around and began pounding on the door. I looked for a key, searching the obvious places. When I lifted up one of the flowerpots, a small brass key was underneath it.

I picked it up and placed it in the slot. Turning it slowly, I heard a click and pushed the door open.

Walking in slowly, I started calling oit their names. "Juli, Eleanor, I know you're here."

The lights were out. No sounds came from the house. Maybe they really weren't home.

But to make sure, I walked all the rooms of the house. When I walked past the bathroom, I noticed a small box sitting on the bathroom floor. I turned on the light and took the box in my hands.

"What the hell is she doing with a pregnancy test?" I wondered to myself. It can't be Eleanor's, I don't even think that she's dating anyone.

I knew the actual test itself had to be somewhere, so I began searching the bathroom. When I opened the trash can, there it was.

It was face down, so I couldn't tell the result. I wrapped a piece of toilet paper around my fingers and picked it up. I didn't want to touch the thing, she peed on it for god's sake.

I took it out of the garbage and turned it over. A small "+" was on the tiny screen. My mouth dropped to the floor. Could Juli really be pregnant? Is it mine? Or did she hook up with that asshole Niall?

I put it back in the can, trying to make everything look like it wasn't touched. I turned the light off and began running toward the front door.

I opened it, only to see lights flashing in my face.
