~ Juli's P.O.V. ~

I walked into the same office as I had before. I've had a few ultrasounds, but this time it was different. I was actually going to see my daughter's features.

"Julianna Coachman." The receptionist said.

I stood out of my chair and walked over to the kiosk. "That's me." I said with a smile.

The young nurse smiled back at me. "You can head down that hallway and it's the second door on the left." She pointed with her pen.

I nodded. "Thank you."

Following the secretary's directions, I ended up in a larger room. There were all different types of equiptment placed randomly throught the space.

"Juli?" The door cracked open.

I shot out of my chair and greeted my doctor, Rylee. "You look so good!" She exclaimed. "She is definatley growing!"

I laughed. "You would have thought that I'm having triplets! I almost never stop eating."

"That's completely normal. You're carrying another person inside of you! You're going to get a little hungry." She chuckled. "We better start with this appointment."

She walked me over to a padded chair and she sat in a rolling one across from me. "Before we start the actual ultrasound, I just have to ask the standard questions. How much weight have you gained?" She asked.

"Um... I think about ten pounds. But I haven't weighed in a week." I replied.

"Alright, we can weigh you here. Are there any negative symptoms?" She questioned, looking at her clipboard.

I looked at the ceiling and shook my head. "I don't think so. I used to get pretty bad headaches, but those went away a while ago."

She nodded and wrote something down on the paper. "Are you ready to start?" She asked, a smile forming on her face.

"Of course! I've been waiting for the 3D ultrasound a long time."

Rylee walked me over to a recliner seat and asked me to pull up my shirt. Once I did that, she placed a few bands around my bump and placed it under a scanner. "This might take a few minutes for me to get this set up. Just hang in there."

I sighed and watched the shadows across the ceiling. The passing minutes literally felt like hours. I would glance at the screen every once in a while to check, but still, nothing would show up.

"Juli, I'd like you to see your daughter." Rylee said, pointing to the moniter.

At first, she was hard to make out. But sure enough, there in the center of the screen, was my little girl. She had a little button nose, and bow shaped lips. A smile grew across my face as I studied her features. There was almost no resemblance of Carter. Every feature was a copy of me.

A tear rolled from my eye, blurring my vision. "Have you come up with a name yet?" Rylee asked.

I shrugged, wiping away my tears of joy. "I've got one picked out, but I think I want to keep it a secret until she's born. My parents kept my name a secret from everyone, and I want to carry on the tradition. They both died a long time ago, and I feel like by doing this I'm still connected to them."

She nodded. "I get it." I turned my head back to the screen. "She's going to be a beautiful little girl. You're going to be a great mother." She placed her hand in mine.

"What if I can't do it?" I question.

"Can't raise her?" She said pointing to the moniter, with my baby's face on the screen.
