After a very good sleep, I woke up feeling really refreshed. I did my usual morning routine, which is yawning like a dinosaur and stretching like a cat, with my back bones clicking. I trudged out of my comfortable queen sized bed and began making my way to the kitchen for some breakfast. It is quite chilly in my apartment so I noted that I should probably wear something warm on my date with Angelo.

Sweet Angelo.

How am I already this excited about a guy when I've only known him for a couple of days? Is it his charming smile and handsome physique? Or is it his aura of mystery that intrigues me? It could just be his gentleness towards me and the fact that I feel so safe with him.

As I entered the kitchen, I opened the blinds and began preparing my breakfast smoothie. It only took about 10 minutes to make and to clean everything up, so when I was finished, I picked up my bottle and made my way to the couch for some morning cartoons.

As I flicked through the channels, I saw a very interesting headline that was on the NEW'S station. It read  'Deadly gangs strike again'. This really piqued my interest and I turned the volume up.

'News reporter violently murdered after she investigated one of the biggest drug deals that New York has ever seen. Twenty-five year old, Justine Monnaghan,  was found dead in an alleyway at 5 A.M this morning. Police reports claiming that she struggled as she was murdered, due to the bruising on her body. Evidence was found that she had been raped,  which was then proceeded by being strangled until she was no longer breathing. This city is no longer the presentable city that it once was. Gangs have destroyed families and businesses, and it has to come to an end, for you, the citizens of the United States, and as well as the world. My name is Cindy Graham, and this is The Morning Buzz.'

Talk about a way to start the day with chills. I immediately changed channels and sipped on my smoothie while watching Tom & Jerry. I replied to my texts and snapchats and then phoned Maria, since it was her day off. We chatted for about a half an hour, talking about how I was doing and how she was holding up as well as my date with Angelo. She really likes him.

Before I knew it, it was 10A.M, so I made my way to my room to go get ready for the date.  After showering, I put on white jeans with a beige/crème blouse along with nude pumps and I complimented it all with some mascara and eyeliner, a touch of lip-gloss and my favorite pair of earrings that I got when I was sixteen. I made sure that my room was nice and neat. My O.C.D coming through, then I went to wait for Angelo in my living room.

After sitting down on my sofa, it wasn't long until I heard three knocks on my front door. Angelo. I checked my appearance once more before walking towards the door. I gasped when I saw the man in front of me. I have never seen Angelo look this good. He was dressed in a gray Armani suit, with a black tie and black dress shoes. He looked so good in darker colors. The only thing that contrasted to his outfit was a single white rose that he held in his hand. After I looked at his entire appearance, my eyes settled onto his hazel orbs, and I realized that he has also just fully checked me from head to toe.

I started blushing uncontrollably, feeling a bit uncomfortable at our situation. We have yet to speak, but yet we are holding each other's gazes in an intimate manner. My nerves started to kick in once more and I was worried if everything is okay. I triple checked my outfit and I still thought that it was cute.

"Uh, is everything okay? Am I underdressed?" I asked worriedly. Who am I kidding? This man is clearly way out of my league, I should have worn something that screamed sexy, instead of something that whispered cute.

"No!" He quickly said, "No, you look absolutely breathtaking!" He concluded looking at my outfit once more.

A sense of dizziness overcame me and I reached out to cling to the door frame in the hopes of not falling in front of this Adonis of a man. But before I could even reach the door frame, Angelo grabbed my waist and steadied me.
