"Will you excuse me for a second?" I asked sweetly. Coming to my feet as Orlando simply nodded and with that. I walked off. Only to look around and see my brother sitting at the bar.
Releasing a slight growl I made my way over to the curly headed moron and literally dragged him from his seat and around the corner. Where we were out of sight of Orlando.
"What the heck are you doing here?!" I questioned in a whisper as Aidan just stared down at me innocently. " And don't you dare give me that look! Aidan you knew this was important to me!" I explained, almost in a whining tone as my younger brother simply sighed.
"I know, I know.... I just wanted to make sure he didn't try anything" he insisted, causing me to roll my eyes before groaning.
" Look thats really sweet but I'm serious, I can take care of myself. Go back to the hotel and I'll meet you there." I ordered before walking off and with that returned to my table.
"I should've worn a fake musquash..." Aidan mumbled to himself, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched me sit down.
"I didn't know he would be...here." I mumbled out, running two hands through my hair.Smiling innocently at the famous Hollywood actor."I'm sorry,he's just REALLY over protective" I insisted.Only causing Orlando to chuckle. With that a wave of relief flew over me.
"No,no it's fine...I think it's....sweet?" Mr.Bloom shrugged to himself. Before glancing to his left, only to find his dates younger brother staring at him from across the restaurant. Making a few hand motions,Orlando simply raised an eyebrow in response before returning his attention to Alex and sighing."Don't worry about it." He told me.Before suddenly leaning in and whispering."We'll loose him after dinner" he winked, before our drinks arrived and the conversation started.
At first it seemed like a game of twenty questions, but as time went on.We both relaxed and really got to know each other.
"So wait, you've literally been all over the world. But you still haven't been to New York? I find that hard to believe, it's one of the most popular places in the world!" he insisted ,taking another bite of his food.
That comment only caused me to roll my eyes playfully at him, before releasing a slight huff.
"Well you better believe it tough guy, Aidan has filmed in Manhattan but don't think I don't-" I tried flirting, but that was when-
"That is so not true!" My brother yelled from across the building, interrupting our conversation almost instantly. Before coming to his feet and strolling right over to where we here sitting . Pulling up a chair and sitting between Orlando and I. He soon spoke up;
"Ill tell you what really happen, okay we arrived in new York and- Blah blah blah blah blah" From there thats all that I heard.
Covering my face with my hands,I was so embarrassed and knew Orlando would probably never want to speak with the girl with a over protective brother. This was so humiliating! Any second this amazing Hollywood actor would get up and-
"Hey Alex,do you wanna go?" Orlando whispered to me with a grin.
Only causing me to nod in response. Not knowing how we'd loose my psychotic brother. But Orlando already seemed to have a plan, sitting back in his seat. Mr. Bloom gave Aidan a kind smile. Before placing a hand on his shoulder "You know, I'd love to hear more about that. Could you grab the three of us a few drinks from the bar and we can talk all about it together?" He asked with a fake smile.
Only causing my brother to grin, thinking he had won this battle. "Yeah sure, I'll be right back" he innocently responded before running off and the moment he was out of sight.
Orlando quickly jumped to his feet, placing a few bills on the table as he then grabbed my hand and began leading me out of the restaurant. Holding back a slight giggle, I did feel bad for ditching my brother. But he shouldn't have come in the first place!
Slipping outside within a few seconds, the two of us soon began running through the streets. Not noticing that while we were inside, it had began pouring rain. Almost instantly drenching us in our nice clothes, but neither of us seemed to mind.
"Wait! Wait! Wait! My heals- I'm gonna slip" I laughed, pulling on his arm to stop him. As I then slipped off my shoes. Holding Orlando's hand with one hand and my shoes with the other.
We continued running for a few blocks, before turning the corner and instantly finding shelter between these two stores. Which seemed to save us from the rain, leaning our backs against the wall.
Both him and I breathed heavily for a moment, before Orlando began chuckling to himself "I did not plan for our date to turn out like this" he explained with a smirk, before going to face me.
"I know, I'm sorry again" I tried explaining. Only freezing as he unexpectedly reached foreword and brushed some wet hair out of my face.
"Don't apologize, I thought this was fun- having a nice dinner, running through the rain. It's unique" he explained, slowly removing his jacket and placing it over me.
Only causing me to smile softly at him before shrugging "I couldn't agree more" I explained, getting on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek but that was when he turned his face and
Bam!
My lips connected with his, causing him to pull away almost instantly. My cheeks turning read from embarrassment as he looked down at me almost confused.
"I- I meant to go for-" but before I could finish what I was going to say, he leaned down and kissed me passionately. Cupping my cheeks between his hands as I just stood there for a second, before finally kissing back.
My eyes closing as my heart fluttered. Bringing my arms up to wrap around his neck, this moment was absolutely perfect. But that was when we heard the sound of a camera going off.
