I woke up in the middle of the night to little feet kicking me. I looked over to see Blue crying.

"What's wrong Blue," I asked as I hugged her. I then remembered she couldn't talk and just assumed she had a bad dream.

Soon she cried herself back to sleep. I laid her back down and tried to go back to sleep. Key word; tried.

I couldn't sleep. I got up outta bed and went downstairs to grab a midnight snack. I ate the snack while watching tv in the living room.

When I was done eating my snack. I started to explore the house even more.

I walked downstairs into the basement. I opened the lights and found myself in a recording studio.

I sat down and played with the switches. I made a beat that I really liked.

I got into the booth, stood in front of the mic, put the headphones on, and sang my heart out.

I noticed the kitchen light on. I could have sworn I turned it off. I went into the kitchen and saw mom.

She had her head in the refrigerator. She didn't even notice me.

I cleared my throat and mom turned around quickly.

She jumped when she saw me. "Oh, you scared me," she said as she sat down on a stool.

"What's up. Why are you up this early. It's like 3 in the morning," She said.

I sat on the island and answered, "Well, Blue woke me up and now I can't sleep. What are you doing up," "I was hungry so I came and got something to eat," she replied.

I started getting kinda tired so I went back upstairs. I entered my room and plopped back down on my comfy bed. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.
