I got up the next morning with a massive hangover. The alarm clock barely woke me up, but I was able to get up and go to work. The hangover wasn't even the part that made me want to stay home, it was that dream. I just felt... awkward. Especially about the part when Michael said he loved me. He had said it so seriously, it felt real. It had been three months since Michael had broken up with his last girlfriend, but we all knew he was straight. I, on the other hand, had never had very many girlfriends. I would find one I liked here and there but nothing ever turned out serious. And I had never had a problem with it being that way. But when Michael had said he loved me...

I only remembered it was friday when I heard Ray scream from the other room. "Time for Let's PLAAAAYYYYYY!" He didn't seem the least bit tired. I saw the guys sitting together talking in the computer room. "Well, look who the fuck it is!" I heard Michael say as I walked in. "Gavin, fucking two hours late!" He was exaggerating which made me want to laugh, but I tried to hold it back and just smile.

We started filming minecraft and Geoff explained the rules to us. "So basically its kind of like the Hunger Games except with a few changes. You all only have one life. And get this, there are chests in all of Achievement city that you can use." That was basically all I bothered to listen to until I noticed them talking about something interesting later in the game. "Ya I know what you mean something just feels... different here in the office," Jack said to Ray.

"It's Michael," I said. "Michael?" Geoff asked with shock. "Gavin, you haven't talked once this entire Let's Play."

"You haven't made a single one of those stupid things you call jokes the entire week!" Michael pointed out.

Come to think of it, they were right. And I thought I had been doing a good job keeping it casual. "Fine, you want a joke? Knock knock," I said.

"Oh god here we go!" Michael said while everybody groaned.

"But seriously Gavin, you're the one acting weird. Everything okay?" Geoff asked.

Of course it was. I might have felt a little strange, but I was pretty sure that was normal from time to time. Everyone had off weeks. Michael was the one acting weird, but I was done pointing that out.

"I'm great; not sure what you're talking about."

I tried to keep quiet the rest of that day. I wasn't in the mood to socialize. We didn't record many videos so I mostly did editing and coming up with ideas for RT recaps.

After work I was just leaving the building when I saw Michael.

"Michael!" I called out. "Do you want to maybe.. uh.. go over to my place?"

"Sorry buddy not today."

"Awww," I whined. He didn't give me any more of an explanation than that, which made me upset. As he walked over to his car, I hid behind a tree and watched him. I wondered what would happen if I followed him. I had never done something like that before and never intended to, but when Monty walked by I knew what I had to do. "Monty I need to ask a huge favor from you!"

Monty's car smelled strongly of car freshener. It felt so weird to be driving in someone else's vehicle, but I knew Michael would have recognized mine from a mile away. I always stayed about two cars behind him. As he made a left turn, I realized he wasn't going home. He pulled over and someone jumped in the car with him. I had never seen the man before, and he looked tall and scary. He definitely didn't work at Rooster Teeth, and Michael had never mentioned he was doing something with this guy after work today. They drove on, me always on their tale. They eventually got out of the car and approached a large strangely decorated building. Thats when I realized we barely still in Austin. It was a gambling casino.
