Curly haired guy raises his eye browns at me and when he opens his mouth he laughs. I stare at him with confusion written all over my face. But he just laughs. I can't help it but smile at the sound of his laugh or maybe it's because I just accused him of following me, but either way a smile pulls on my lips and I look down before he can notice.
"Trust me I'm not following you nor am I stalking you" he says with a playful tone. "And if I was I would follow you from far away not sit right next you" I nod my head. "I guess I just wanted to see how you're doing?" He ask gently.
"I'm fine just a little tired" the words stumble out of my mouth like a broken record by now.
"Sure you are" he snorts from besides me.
"I can leave if you want" I point out getting irritated how he thinks he knows me.
"No I'm sorry I just I uh- how's your face?"
"It's healing" my voice is flat. And when I look up at him he's already looking at me. I see him lifting his hand, I see his hand getting closer to my face, I feel my heart beat a little faster, and I feel his finger slide across the small bruise but I don't stop him for some reason.
He's eyes stare into mine. He searches my faces like he's taking in every detail. I tilt my head to the side in confusion. Why does he stare? I shake my head and look down at my fingers. I hear him cough from besides me.
"I ugh your brother plays football?" He ask changing the subject completely which I'm great full for.
"Yeah he's number 7 the wide receiver - quarterback" I point to Jake and see him messing around with Joshua. They start play wrestling and Joshua tackles my brother to the floor which results in Jake shoving his hand in Joshuas face. I laugh while look at the two children.
"Mm I see so why are you waiting here alone?" He's eyes never leaving the field.
"Oh because Jake and I share a car and he's my drive home" I look at my phone and see I have an hour and half to kill before he gets out.
"If you want I can take you home?" He questions casually.
"Uh I don't know I wouldn't want to trouble you"
"No its not a big deal I was heading out anyways" I shrug my shoulders but nod my head. Hey if I could go home early without having to wait here I'm completely fine with that.
"Okay if you insist let me just tell my brother" I jog down the bleachers and up to the fence. "Jake!" He eyes look up and find mine. He jogs over to me very slowly I wouldn't even call it jogging he's just doing the motion of it but basically walking to me.
"What's up?" He ask out of breath. He's so damn lazy.
"I'm going to go home I got a ride" I'm about to turn around to leave but he calls my name.
"Who's giving you a ride?" He looks at me waiting for the answer. I don't know his damn name. So I just point to the boy with the green eyes who's siting in the same position when I left. Jake just nods his head not looking fully sure about it.
"Jake I don't want to wait another hour for you to be out I'm tired" I whine. Joshua comes running up to us. Noisy ass I swear. "Hello Josh" he gives me a cheeky grin.
"Why hello hot stuff" he says making me laughing. But Jake doesn't find it funny as he pushes his head with his hand.
"That's my sister you perv" Jake shakes his head and Josh only laughs louder. "Just go please and be careful" I nod my head giving them both a small goodbye. I jog up the stairs and grab all my things to go.
