Cat's POV: I was nervously driving the golf cart. I was regretting everything; going into the woods, not listening to Noah. He was trying to warn me and I didn't listen. The golf cart was running low on gas, and I hoped that we would have enough to get there and back. Noah seemed just as nervous as I was. Something was definitely wrong with him, I could feel it. I stopped the golf cart causing him to fly forward, and just at the right moment, I swung my arm in front of him pushing him back into his seat. He turned to me with a face of anger that made me laugh. "What's so funny, Cat? Why would you think it was a good idea to slam on the brakes?" I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't breathe. "It's just a little thing called payback," I smirked. "Noah, something's up I can feel it. Want to tell me what's wrong?" He looked at me for a minute and sighed. "Okay. I'm losing power. I can't see what's going to happen anymore and I'm starting to forget the past. The last thing I remember is the dream room. So, when you said payback, I had no idea what you meant. I don't know what's happening. I hope that this won't continue, but if it does we may have a problem." I felt my mouth drop open. "Well then we have to stop it!" was all I could think to say. The rest of the ride was quiet. We finally got to the woods, but didn't see Lucas. After standing there for a few minutes, we saw Hunter. He came right up to me and pulled at my shirt. We followed him for a while getting deeper into the woods, then came to a stop. I looked around but still didn't see Lucas. Hunter barked when I finally saw him. He jumped down from on top of a tree, and landed right in front of Hunter. He was wearing all black with a hoodie covering his face. He had a bow at the ready and a quiver over one shoulder. Suddenly I was scared. I grabbed onto Noah and squeezed his arm. He let down his bow and pulled off his hoodie. "Don't be scared, I was only hunting. A boy has got to eat somehow." He smiled. He had black stuff all over his hair and face so all you could see were his piercing green eyes. Lucas starting walking towards me. Noah pushed me behind him and gave Lucas the "If you come closer I'll hurt you" look. He respected Noah's threat and stopped. "You must be Noah," Lucas said and held out his hand that was covered by a black leather glove. Noah looked at him and shook it. "Pleasure," he said in a stern voice. Lucas was not afraid of Noah. He had a smile on his face the whole time. Noah on the other hand was. His hand was shaking and he wasn't fooling anyone with that "scary" voice and serious face. It was probably the most awkward situation I had was ever been in. "So, did you kill anything?" I finally said trying to break the silence. He laughed, "I guess you can say that. I killed two deer and a few fish by the lake." I nodded my head, "Nice." Lucas looked at Noah. "Do you hunt?" Noah rolled his eyes. "No, I go to something called the grocery store, then when I come back to my house, not tree, I take a little thing called a shower." I was shocked that Noah just said that. Lucas looked annoyed. "Well, for your information, I have a house with a shower. I hunt my meat because it's cheaper, though I do go to the store to buy other items." Then he laughed. "You thought I lived in a tree?" Noah was pissed. I saw him clench his jaw and fists. I thought he was going to punch him. Instead he walked to the golf cart and sat down. Lucas called to him,"So now you're going to drive a way? Too much of a baby to face me, huh?" My eyes widened. He should not have said that. Noah got up, walked right up to him so they were almost touching, and punched him. I watched as Lucas fall to the ground unconscious.
