Sorry for my little hiatus, I just couldn't sit down and write this story like how I wanted to for a long ass time, but today I finally just had to talk myself into doing it, and now I'm over my little writing hump.
Tried to make this long for you guys, enjoy and let me know what you guys think! Comment and vote!
Love and kisses, Keiana!
11. You Did It
Nia Riley
"Turn and look at him Christy." I instructed the wife, who was standing on the set I'd made in my office for today's photoshoot for this lovely couple's' wedding invitations.
She turned on an angle and stared into her fiancé's eyes adoringly.
"Beautiful." I smiled and snapped a few pictures with this pose.
I went to the list of poses we'd discussed just as there was a knock on my office door.
"Excuse me guys, hold on. I don't know who this could be."
I opened the door and peeked my head out a little bit, seeing a delivery man with a bouquet of gorgeous white roses.
"Nia Riley?"
"Yes that's me." My eyebrows raised as I looked at the bouquet. There had to be about twenty roses in there.
"These are for you. Just sign that you received them for me."
I took the slip from him and signed the slip against the door, and then took my bouquet.
"Thank you, have a good day." I smiled and walked back into my office. I couldn't stop smiling and staring at the bouquet.
They were white roses, and my absolute favorite. I used to like red, but I'd really been on white ones lately. They just popped so well.
Chris just knew me so well.
"Sorry about that guys, I had a delivery."
"No problem." Christy smiled and noticed my bouquet. "Wow those are gorgeous Nia."
"I know, my fiancé did a great job." I smiled and noticed a little card sticking out.
I grabbed it out the bouquet and placed the flowers on my desk.
I was in the store and I saw these and they just popped to me, just like you do, so I just wanted to send these your way to make sure you have a good day, if you haven't already.
You've been on my mind and shit, I can't lie. I know you got a man, but I really enjoyed your company when I was in LA.
Call a nigga sometime, Dave.
My heart damn near dropped when I realized the writing didn't belong to Chris, and these weren't from him.
Wow Dave.
I hadn't talked to him since yesterday after we smoked after dinner, but I guess he was leaving for New York now.
He was so sweet, but I knew his intentions with me weren't good. He just completely disregarded the fact that Chris was in my life and even existed.
His confidence was sexy, really overwhelming, but nice at the same time, and that's why I had to stay away.
I could see myself liking him a lot if I allowed myself to, so I just wasn't gonna let it happen.
I wasn't gonna hit that man up, sometime nor one time. That was me just begging for trouble.
"Here, hold a rose." I gave Christy a white rose making sure there were no thorns and grabbed my camera again to continue the shoot.
