I don't even got an excuse lol, I really just lost my passion and drive for this story, but I'm so close to the end I really just gotta see this through, sorry if that annoys y'all, cause I'm so off with the updates and my consistency. But I just got a blast of creative energy, so letssssgetit.
Sorry if it's boring and or short, I just gotta get to the bread and butter.
Alsoooo, I want to continue writing Sugar, a story I started about August Alsina, who I'm not attracted to like that anymore. I love the story line, and I wanna finish it, but I just need a character to write it about. So if y'all would please, read the story and see who you think would fit, or who y'all would like to see. It's appreciated. Thank you, God bless.

29. Don't Wanna Breathe

"You really believe in love at first sight?"
"Hell yeah, and the wrong time, right person. All that shit." Dave laughed, nodding his head and taking a bite of his sandwich. He had a little bit of mayonnaise on the side of his mouth, so I leaned in and wiped it off with my finger, wiping my finger on a napkin laying between us after.
"Thank you."
I smiled. "Of course."
"You believe in love at first sight though?"
"I don't know." I shrugged. "I feel like it's just lust, sometimes mixed with alcohol. But then you see them sober the next day, and they're different."
Dave nodded his head. "Touché. I guess it just depends."
"Exactly."
"I knew I had lust for you the first time I saw you." Dave informed me after taking a bite of his sandwich again.
The nigga had taken three bites and it was almost done, meanwhile I was still cutting through the steak I was working on.
"I ain't gone call it love, cause I don't think I love you yet, but I definitely feel a way towards you, I admire you, I'm so attracted to you, I'm protective over you, I really just wanna see you prosper. I wanna be with, and build something with you, but I'll wait until you're ready for all that, if you're ready for that."
I didn't know what I was ready for, or what I wanted to do right now relationship wise, but I knew I wanted to feel Dave's toned body against mine right now, and I didn't care if it wasn't the correct decision at the moment.
He looked at my almost empty glass and filled it up with more wine for me. On the way to his apartment he asked me if I wanted something from the store, I said no, but I guess he knew I wasn't thinking straight, and bought me a bottle of pink moscato, cause I really did need this. My nerves were so off.
"Can you just hold me?"
"Of course. Come here." Dave started gathering our trash, packing it away into a garbage bag so we had room to lay down.
"Lemme take this outside before I forget, hold on." He told me, grabbing the garbage bag he had filled and walking out the room.
I took it upon myself to get comfortable by finishing my glass of wine, and removing my dress, so I could change into one of Dave's shirts.
I found a shirt that didn't look that special and pulled it over my head just as Dave walked back in the room.
"My bad, you need a minute?"
"Nah, but I'm wearing this shirt, hope you don't mind."
He shook his head and climbed into the bed, propping himself on some pillows. "Never. Come 'ere."
