Hey guys! Happy late New Years! This one shot is based completely off this dream I had. It was as if I was Percy for the first half. So it was a first person experience. It was awesome and terrifying. The second part was cute and fluffy and for some reason I was no longer in first person, Percy's POV, but third person as myself. So hope you enjoy. Obviously it will make more sense than my dream because dreams never make sense. Alright, continue.

Percy's POV

The Argo was under attack. All the seven were on the deck, trying to keep the ship in good condition. It was pitch black out, with no moon or stars. Just a rough, untamable sea. Percy tried to keep the water off the ship. It was hard to stand because the ship kept rocking side to side as the ocean slammed into the ship. For some reason, he couldn't control it. The wind was picking up.

"Percy, do something!" Piper yelled.

"I'm trying," he yelled back. Something dark moved in the water.

"Something's down there!" He yelled and just then, the 'something' grabbed Percy and dragged him into the water.

"Percy!" Annabeth yelled. But he was already under. The arm let him go. He swam, looking for the source of the grabbing. He took a breath. Big mistake. He couldn't breathe in the water. Black specks pricked at his vision as water filled his lungs. Percy panicked. He thought he was going to pass out but he couldn't. Not yet at least. He swam towards the ship, his head now above water. He coughed like there was no tomorrow. Where was the ship?

Annabeth's POV

"Where did he go?" Hazel asked. Annabeth didn't know. She stomped her foot.

"That idiot!" She growled. He wasn't exactly his fault but she was tired and frustrated. She walked up to the side and looked over the ship to see where he was. It was too dark, like someone, or something, made a barrier of black over everything that was outside the ship's radius. The water stopped hitting the ship. The waters were calm and quiet. This isn't right. Annabeth tensed. Then, out sprang a hand as it roughly grabbed the ship's railing. It was Percy. Oh thank the gods. She helped him over the railing. Once he was on deck, he collapsed.

Percy's POV

He felt the warm wood on his skin. Relief flooded his body. The deck light casted a yellow glow over the ship. It was warm. He was so grateful for heat. Percy couldn't feel his legs. Now with that thing gone, he could control the water. With his limited strength, he willed the water out of his lungs.

"C'mon, let's get him to bed," Jason said. (C'mon, C'mon with everything falling down around me. I'll stop. Continue) Annabeth and Jason both took one of his shoulders and helped him to his feet.  The monster must had made a lot of damage because the walls of everyone's rooms were gone, splintered to pieces.

"Well, I guess no privacy for a few days," Piper said. After brushing off as many pieces of wood as they could off the bed, they laid Percy in his bed and he dosed off.

Part two (A/N I was no longer Percy, I was an audience member basically.)

Annabeth's POV

Percy and Annabeth were cuddled on his bed, Percy asleep. But Annabeth wasn't. She was just sitting down, maybe for a short minute, but Percy grabbed her and now she was stuck. So, she just decided that she could think. That monster was powerful if it could temporarily withdraw Percy's powers over the sea. A very powerful adversary. She was too tired to think of a plan to get rid of it, so she took out her ponytail and put her dagger on the bedside table and took out some blue prints. She wasn't that tired. Piper was braiding her hair. Jason was fiddling with his coin. Hazel was cleaning her sword. Frank was sheathing his arrows. Leo was making something out of loose pencils and tape. Coach Hedge was swinging his baseball bat around. They were all doing, somewhat normal, things. It was quiet, only the creaking of the ship was heard. Percy wrapped his arms around Annabeth tighter and buried his face in her curls. Maybe I should sleep. Who knows how much time I have to do so, she thought to herself. Annabeth closed her eyes as she put her blue prints on the side table, which was covered in splinters. She fell asleep to the sound of Coach Hedge grumbling about how they weren't following the rules. Who would care?
Annabeth was happy. She was happy that her friends could still have peaceful, quiet moments in their hectic lives. She was happy that she had these friends. She was happy that she had Percy with her after all these years. The next night was similar.

-time skip-

Percy was waiting for her on his bed, fiddling with Riptide, which was in pen form. He grinned when he saw her and held out his arms. She smiled and laid down next to him. The walls were being repaired. But Leo could only move so fast, so they weren't complete. Still a big room full of beds and demigods and one satyr. Annabeth was happy. These people gave her strength of will. Will to live and fight. Give me strength.
