So, today is, according to Shakespeare, is the day Romeo and Juliet got married so, good timing!

Annabeth's POV

Annabeth opened the door to her and Percy's new home. But before she went in, she noticed the moving truck compartment still in the street. That's weird, she thought. She shrugged and went inside. When she closed the door, she sighed and put her purse on a table that was against the wall and shrugged off her trench coat and hung it up on the coat rack.

"Percy?" She called out, her now socked feet causing the dark hard-wood floors to creak slightly.

"Here!" He called out from their room. When she heard a loud thump and a string of curses, she smiled. Seaweed Brain.
A few seconds later, he stepped out of their room dressed in a white button up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and some black pants. He held out his arms, motioning her to give him hug. She obliged to his silent plea and walked into his arms. She was so tired from work that she could really go for a massage. She's have to ask him later. For now, she wanted to know why he was wearing what he was wearing.
"Why all dressed up, Seaweed Brain?" She asked.
"I have a surprise for you..." He replied as he still hugged her, his head resting atop her head.
"Well, do I have to get all dressed up too?" She asked, smiling. He was so warm. And she was so tired.
"Nope, you look beautiful just the way you are, as always," he said. She could practically hear him smile. She rolled her eyes, even though he couldn't see.

Percy's POV

Percy thought Annabeth looked beautiful, more than usual, and he just was so nervous but excited at the same time. It reminded him of their first date. He smiled at the memory, but he had another thing to smile at. That thing, rather person, was Annabeth-almost-Jackson Chase. She was wearing a simple gray turtle-neck sweater along with dark jeans. He nestled his face in her hair. It was up in its usual ponytail, with a few curls framing the sides of her face. He could do this. He took her hand led her outside.
"Percy, where are we going?" She asked with a smile.
"You'll see," he replied. He turned around the corner of the house, where the moving truck compartment was resting. Annabeth raised an eyebrow.
"What are you up to today, Seaweed Brain?" She asked. He let go of her hand and opened up the compartment. They were immediately glossed in the yellow-orange glow from the fairy lights. He saw her eyes brighten.
"It's beautiful, how did you manage?" She asked her eyes still analyzing the display before her. He just grinned at her.
"C'mon, let's get this evening started," he said and held his hand out to her.
"I can walk myself, Percy, I don't need your hand," she said with a smirk.
"I know, but it's just manners. My mom took a way too long of a lesson to teach me that," he said. They sat down at the table and started to eat. In Percy's personal opinion, it was pretty good.

-----time skip because I don't want to write them eating, you know how to eat-----

Annabeth's POV

Dinner was delicious. Annabeth really needed this after her day at work. She didn't want to relive it in her head. After Percy cracking a few jokes and telling her about how he had a busy day and how his day could top hers in the stressful department. He ended up losing in that department.
Annabeth and he sat. She suddenly noticed that he seemed nervous. But about what?
"Percy? You okay?" She asked. He took her hand in his and locked eyes with her.
"Annabeth, I have something to ask you," he said. He stood up, and walked over to her. She remained sitting, but she turned to him. He slowly got down on one knee. Oh my gods. He took a black velvet-covered box from his pocket and placed a warm hand on her knee.
"Don't cry, Annabeth," he laughed. She didn't even notice she was. He took her hands in both of his, with the ring in the center of it all, and rested the jumble of hands on her lap.
"I, uh, had a speech prepared and it took so long to write, but I just don't think I will use it, because I'm going to go from the heart," he explained. She laughed with a tear in her eye.
"Annabeth Chase, I've known you for years and you've known me. I would say that the day I met you was the best day of my life, but my mom was taken and I just found out I was half god and then I passed out. No, the best day of my life was when we actually had a real conversation. It was the best because I realized that I would have a friend, a real friend that I could talk to. Sure, I had, and still have, Grover but, he just doesn't understand the effect you have on everyone. Especially me. I love you, Annabeth. More than anything. You name it, and you are more to me," he lectured. Annabeth was crying happy tears. Her heart was fluttering and her head felt light. She buried her face in his shoulder for a moment. She had to collect herself. She withdrew her head and looked to Percy who was smiling. He opened the small box. It was beautiful. A simple bronze band with one single diamond on it.
"So, I ask you this," he took a deep breath. Annabeth's heart skipped a beat.
"Wise Girl, will you marry?" He asked. Annabeth's heart was beating like crazy. She couldn't get any words out so she just nodded and let out a happy sob. Percy smiled at her and took her left hand. He slide the ring on the respective finger. He helped her up and she practically jumped on him in a hug. He wrapped his arms around her waist and hers went around his neck. She cried into his neck but she was smiling like a psycho. He swayed her back and forth as he smiled. Annabeth swore she heard a sniffle from him. Annabeth didn't cry often. But this was an exception. She put her lips to his ear.
"I love you," she whispered. She felt like she was flying and falling at same time. Love was disorienting and crazy, but it was worth it in every way. Without each other, they would be lost, and probably dead, but she was happy. They were happy. Maybe, after all the trouble and monsters, they could have a happily ever after. Cliche, but worth it. Just like love itself. Sometimes.

Percy's POV

Percy pumped his fist in the air. Nailed it, he thought.
