Chapter 17: Quinn

We arrived towards a grassy field as Nunu carried the unconscious Lulu on his back. The feeling of war and violence was coming back to me when I first stepped through the entrance. It feels weird to be back with my mom whose not my real mom and with my lovely sisters who isn't my real sisters either. The feeling made me feel nervous to see everybody again. But here I was, seeing it was like a flashback to my worst memories. I was back at the League of Legends.

We walked towards an old house which seems to be Soraka's house. Nunu suggested that it'll be better to see Soraka for help because she was the League's best doctor. She knew every disease in the world and memorize it like nothing. I would say she's the best doctor in the world.  We entered into the house silently and noticed that Soraka was already treating someone.  At first I didn't know who it was.  The person had a slender body, and blue tights and brown boots. I walked besides Soraka to get a closer look and my face went completely shock. The woman had blue violent hair and her bright golden eyes were weakly opened as it stared to the ceiling. Valor, the woman's blue bird, stood on a small table as I saw a crossbow next to it's tiny feet.

"Q-Quinn?!" I exclaimed and Quinn's eyes slowly traveled towards me weakly and her eyes suddenly widen in surprise.

"A-Annie?!" Soraka looked at us in confusion.

"You two know each other?" asked Soraka and I nodded at her gently. I looked at Quinn worriedly as I crouched down nearby her bed.

"What happened sis?" I asked and she simply smiled as she stroked my hair gently. I loved it when she did that. She would do that ever since I was ten ( seven in Kerprie_lolz 's case xD) and it makes me blush every time she did it. It's been so long since I have seen her, and I missed her so bad.

"I just- got hurt during a mission. Don't worry about me though. I'm going to be fine," replied Quinn as a sound of someone clearing their throat was heard behind me. We all turned to the sound and noticed that Nunu was still standing with Lulu on his back with her arms wrapped around his neck.

"Oh dear. Who is that may I ask?" asked Soraka as Nunu and I simply chuckled at each other. I guess Soraka hasn't seen Lulu in human form yet.

"It's just Lulu. She used her magic to turn herself into a human. She's not fully human because you can still see her yordle ears," I explained and Soraka nodded as she pointed to a room.

"Bring her to that room. I'll be right there," Soraka commanded and Nunu followed her directions. "Quinn, you have to rest for about five days until you can get up again." Then, Soraka left the room and walked towards the room where Lulu lay. I stayed with Quinn to make sure she was okay. We needed come catching up to do. If I remember correctly, the last time we met was three years ago until Quinn had to leave for the mission. Wow, I can't believe a mission would take about three years and it could still be going on right now. Another warm smile formed on Quinn's lips as she began to stroke my red hair again.

"My gosh, you have grown so much little sis," said Quinn as I smiled back with my hands clasped nervously. I hope Quinn hasn't change ever since we last met, because I don't really want her to change. She's a really cool person if you get to know her. She's easy going like Ashe, but sometimes act foolish.

"How's your relationship with Talon?" I asked and Quinn's smile suddenly disappeared. My skin turned cold, forcing me to bite my lower lips. Did I make the mistake to ask that question? If it's bothering her that much, I shouldn't ask. "It's okay if you don't want to answer the question. I guess it's too sensitive to ask."

"It's okay, Annie. I could answer it but give me some time," Quinn responded as she took a deep breath. I grabbed her hand to comfort her. "I was caught by the Noxians as they tried to kill me with a blade before Talon saved me. He-" Quinn paused, noticing that her eyes were getting red and tears were falling from her eyes. "He risked his life. I stared at his body laying on the cold hard ground with blood with anger. It was so brutal. He was still alive and he manage to tell me to run, but I didn't want to. I wanted to kill them, for what they done but I knew it was a stupid idea because they were so many of them. They're planning to execute him in three days," I widen my eyes in shock at her story, and I knew she cared about Talon a lot. She has trusted and love Talon for all her life. I heard they were planning on a wedding next week but looks like its not happening until Talon is saved. But who was going to save Talon? "I have to save Talon before they kill him,"

"You can't sis. Didn't you hear Soraka. You need to rest for at least five days," I said. Quinn closed her eyes and breath out slowly.

"I- I guess this is the consequence I deserve for falling in love with the enemy," muttered Quinn. I felt bad for her because someone that she loves has been taken away from her. It's a terrible feeling that no one wants to feel. I let go of Quinn's hand and stood up silently.

"I'll go save Talon myself then. I won't fail you, I promise," I said as Quinn looked at me in surprise as she tried to get up and stop me but she flinched in pain. "Quinn!" I helped her back on the bed and she lay down with her slightly opened eyes. "Are you okay?"

"You can't go by yourself Annie. It's too dangerous. I don't want you to end up like Talon." Quinn said in a worried way.

"She doesn't have to go by herself," said a voice behind me.
